While the resort was not directly on a lake, and I was a bit concerned upon first seeing it from the road- once we pulled in and saw the hotel portion of the property was brand new with a beautiful heated pool, steam room, gym, continental breakfast, and very large rooms, we could not have been happier. Janet, the owner was a doll- going above and beyond to help us with something she very well could have ignored. She was great and so was our stay!

Nov 07, 2024 · Anna Burke BennettUpon arrival to Allen Lake Resort we were greeted by the owner Janet who gave us a wonderful tour of the resort. The rooms are huge, beautifully decorated and immaculate. We had a view of the pristine farm from our room and enjoyed watching the horses. The location is quiet and kid friendly, my son especially enjoyed the heated indoor pool. In the morning we enjoyed a continental breakfast and spoke to gentleman that built the resort.
Jul 06, 2024 · Angel SanticermaRustic B&B meets modern hotel; the end result being a quiet and quaint location with modern amenities. If you're coming for a wedding at Knotting Hill Farm or to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame, skip the motels and stay here instead. This is a new build, only a year or two old, everything is clean, smells new, and the pool area (pool, hot tub, sauna) and gym are immaculate. There is a continental breakfast, 9 LARGE bedrooms, a patio area, lawn, with picturesque views of the rolling hills and valleys native to Central NY. It was peaceful watching the owner's horses graze in the fields. Speaking of the owners (who live in the attached house), they are sweet, affable and very accommodating. If in the Richmond Springs / Jordanville /Cooperstown, NY area I would gladly stay here again. Much love!
Dec 15, 2023 · GregFirst, the owners Dave and Janet were extremely hospitable, funny, knowledgeable and just great people. Their land is beautiful-rolling hills, well kept, clean and accommodating. The resort is brand new, rooms very spacious, clean, well appointed. Big workout facility, indoor pool and hot-tub. I would encourage you to sit by the new fire pit (gas) and enjoy the evening or star-gaze, very little light pollution. Their breakfast is plenty to start your day. Their property is 20 minutes from Cooperstown, with a very beautiful scenic ride. I travel for business weekly and have stayed at a lot of 4-5 star hotels—I would rate this one a 4-5 star resort. We had a total of 9 in our party and ALL of us will come back next year (or sooner).
Sep 25, 2022 · dan aielloHidden Gem!!! If you need to get away for a day or weekend, this is the place to go. Indoor pool heated to 85°, sauna, jacuzzi, workout gym, even a tanning room! To top it off, a continental breakfast with a lot to choose from! And then, there's more 😁 The owners are awesome people who go over and above to make sure your stay is amazing. I would highly recommend scheduling ahead of time and staying for at least two or more days. A Lot to do within a half radius.
