I hate giving bad reviews but I feel like this place needs some serious work. I booked the hotel based on the pictures online on Expedia. The pictures must have been staged in a room that was renovated. It didn't look like the pictures. The place is run down. I had to change rooms 3 times until I found one that was acceptable. The first room smelled of cigarettes, the next room wouldn't lock, and the third room smelled like a sewer, but it went away after running the water. All the rooms smelled musty if the AC was off, the shower was gross with what looked like black mold or something on the sides. The only good thing about this place was the location and the friendly staff, whom I had to talk to several times to address issues. I will not be staying here again.

Both her & Michelle (housekeeper) are invaluable assets to this hotel, and helped make our stay more enjoyable. :) The rooms were clean and smelled great, the lobby was nice and the breakfast was great! My only suggestion would be to provide outdoor ashtrays so guests have a place to put their cigarette butt's instead of tossing them on the ground.

Everything was accessible to downtown and within walking distance. I recently stayed the weekend of April 12, 2025.
Apr 14, 2025 · Pat QuinnRooms were not clean. The chair in the room was worn out full of food dead bedbugs in it. Hair in the shower and all behind the door. We found sunglasses under the a/c. Bed spreads were stained. Plaster falling off the ceiling. Shower was hard to turn on. You couldn't run water in the tub without the shower being on. Bed was comfy and the people were nice. I found out they have live ins that move from room to room each month. So not the best for guest. Yard was unkept. I wasn't asking for the Ritz but I want clean and not feel like I'm bringing bugs home with me. The location was great. Will not go back.
