The cabin was very beautifully decorated inside and gave off a great cabin feel. The cabin was very clean. We noticed a difference when we arrived from the listing on Colonial Properties said the cabin was secluded, however there is another cabin directly beside of it and a trailer across from the property that is all visible. The major downside to the cabin is the bed. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and hurt our backs each night. The sheets seemed to be too small for the bed as they would never stay tucked in. The ice maker in the fridge was also broken and did not work. Other than the bed being extremely uncomfortable, we enjoyed staying in the cabin.

Bear Bottom Introduce

For many Tennesseans, the allure of the Great Smoky Mountains is undeniable. Whether you're planning a family vacation, a romantic escape, or a peaceful break from the everyday, finding the perfect accommodation is crucial. While hotels are abundant, a cabin rental often provides that quintessential mountain experience, offering more space, privacy, and a true "home away from home" feel. Among the numerous options in Sevierville, the Bear Bottom cabin presents a beautifully decorated and well-equipped choice for your next Smoky Mountain adventure.

Bear Bottom aims to provide a cozy and inviting atmosphere that truly embodies the spirit of a cabin getaway. As one guest enthusiastically noted, "The cabin was very beautifully decorated inside and gave off a great cabin feel. The cabin was very clean." This focus on aesthetic appeal and cleanliness ensures a welcoming first impression. Imagine stepping into a space that feels both rustic and refined, ready for relaxation after a day of exploring.

While some guests have noted that the cabin might not be as "secluded" as implied by some listings, given its proximity to other cabins and a trailer, it still offers a sense of privacy and the peaceful ambiance that comes with a mountain setting. It's about finding that balance between accessibility to attractions and the desired tranquility of a mountain escape, and Bear Bottom strives to deliver on both fronts.

Bear Bottom is located at 1352 Creek Side Dr, Sevierville, TN 37876, USA. This address places it within a convenient distance of the most popular attractions in the Smoky Mountains region, including Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg.

The cabin's location offers a fantastic balance of mountain ambiance and practical accessibility:

  • Proximity to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood: Bear Bottom is typically described as being about 20-30 minutes from the main Parkway in Pigeon Forge, which means quick access to major attractions like Dollywood, The Island in Pigeon Forge, Titanic Museum, dinner shows, and countless dining and shopping opportunities. This allows guests to easily enjoy the vibrant entertainment without a long commute.

  • Access to Great Smoky Mountains National Park: For nature lovers, the cabin provides a good base for exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. While specific distances to park entrances vary, a drive of approximately 30 minutes can take you to the Sugarlands entrance, offering access to hiking trails, scenic drives, and wildlife viewing.

  • Road Conditions: While the cabin is nestled in the mountains, it's typically accessible via paved roads, with the last stretch potentially being a private gravel road. Guests are advised to consider a 4x4 vehicle during wet or snowy conditions, particularly from October to March, which is common for mountain cabin rentals in the area. The property offers parking for multiple vehicles.

This location ensures that guests can enjoy the feeling of a mountain retreat while still having all the modern conveniences and tourist hot spots within a reasonable drive. It’s an ideal spot for those who want to experience both the natural beauty and the bustling attractions of the Smokies.

Promotions or Special Offers

As a private vacation rental, Bear Bottom's promotions are typically managed by the property owner or a rental management company and are advertised on major booking platforms like Vrbo, Airbnb, or directly through their own websites. It's always best practice to check these sources for the most up-to-date offers. Common types of promotions for cabins in the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge area often include:

  • Seasonal Discounts: Prices fluctuate based on peak seasons (e.g., summer, fall foliage, holidays) and off-peak times. You might find better deals during the quieter periods, such as late winter or early spring.

  • Weekly or Monthly Stays: Many cabin rentals offer discounted rates for longer bookings, such as a percentage off for a full week or multiple weeks, making extended stays more economical.

  • Last-Minute Deals: If there are unbooked dates approaching, owners may offer last-minute discounts to fill vacancies.

  • Early Bird Specials: Conversely, booking far in advance for popular seasons can sometimes secure a better rate before demand drives prices up.

  • Returning Guest Incentives: Some property management companies offer loyalty discounts for repeat visitors, so if you've stayed with them before, it's worth inquiring.
