While the hotel had some positive aspects, unfortunately, my stay was marked by several issues that made it difficult to fully enjoy. Around 2:00 AM, the fire alarm began going off and continued for over an hour, understandably causing concern among guests. Many of us gathered in the lobby with no clear direction or information, and it was quite a while before a staff member appeared. When someone finally did arrive — in pajamas — we were simply told, “No fire, go to bed.” While it was reassuring to hear there was no danger, the lack of communication and guidance during such a stressful situation was unsettling. The alarm didn’t stop until around 4:00 AM, and there was no follow-up or acknowledgment from the hotel. We also encountered ongoing issues with our room key, which only worked intermittently. Over the course of a two-day stay, it had to be reprogrammed four times. The key wasn’t damaged or demagnetized, and the indicator lights on the door weren’t working, which made us wonder if there might have been a battery issue. Although we mentioned this to staff, no one came to check. I understand that unexpected situations can arise, but clear communication, responsiveness, and basic functionality are important for guest comfort and safety. I hope this feedback is helpful in improving the experience for future guests.

Jun 15, 2025 · Joshua BordersMy wife has family in the area, so I've frequently been in Sevierville and about an hour in every direction. The La Quinta was slightly dirty in both the lobby and the room. I reserved a King bed, but received two queens, which wasn't too much of an issue since we were barely in the room. I recommend spending a little more if you're a tourist and visiting for the first time so you can experience everything you can do and return to a comfortable location.
Jun 13, 2025 · Caleb DunbarWe are always grateful to stay in a place that welcomes our pets. But I urge this place to do a thorough inspection, essential repairs, and deep cleaning. No paying guests should be exposed to mold, so many foundational cracks, and unwashed surfaces. The staff is so nice and I wish all hotels were as welcoming to our fur babies. Attention to cleanliness and maintenance would do this place a huge favor.
Apr 15, 2025 · Sally JohnstonRooms were ok. Decent location away from the hustle and bustle of downtown pigeon Forge. However, the beds were really firm and not the most comfortable for sleeping. Every night after 8pm, the hallways smelled heavily of weed, which was a bit off-putting. Also, housekeeping only came once during our 4-day stay, which was disappointing. Pool was really green. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but there’s definitely room for improvement and would benefit from being a little more honest online when viewing pictures.
May 26, 2025 · Heather WagnerNice hotel, located close to Pigeon Forge. Reasonable rates. Beds are ok. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It can be very loud, walls are thin and you can hear everything. Indoor pool that is heated with pool towel provided but the deck has regular tile and is EXTREMELY slippery. My son could literally slide himself across it and one kids was ‘skating’ using his bare feet on the wet tile. I’m surprised they haven’t been sued over it yet.
