We know the value of a clean, comfortable room and a friendly face after a long day, and this hotel consistently delivers.
Its location on Cosby Highway is a significant advantage for locals. If you're heading to the quieter side of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park via the Cosby entrance for hiking or just enjoying nature, this hotel is right on your way. For those driving across the state, its close proximity to I-40 (Exit 435) makes it an incredibly convenient and easy-to-access overnight spot, saving us precious time and hassle when we're tired from a drive.
The amenities are also perfectly aligned with what many of us look for. The complimentary full hot breakfast, especially with those delicious biscuits and gravy, is a fantastic way to start the day without extra cost or having to seek out a restaurant. And for those of us who travel with our beloved pets, the fact that it's genuinely pet-friendly (with a reasonable fee and designated relief areas) is a huge relief, allowing our furry family members to join the trip.
But perhaps the biggest reason this Best Western is so suitable for locals is the consistently praised staff. Reviews highlight the team's exceptional friendliness and willingness to go the extra mile – making you feel "at home" and quickly resolving any issues. This level of warm, Southern hospitality is what we appreciate most. It's not just a place to sleep; it's a place where you feel genuinely cared for, making it an excellent and reliable choice for any Tennessean's travels in the area.

We had a fabulous stay this weekend! The room was very clean and super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, especially the biscuits and gravy. Jennifer was super helpful at the front desk and so welcoming and friendly! Keith helped us get our TV up and running when we couldn't get it to work. He fixed the issue in no time! It's been a long time since we've had this level of service and felt so at home. Highly recommend!
Apr 13, 2025 · Amy WebbRoom was nice and clean. Beds were comfy. Didn’t use any amenities. Only issue we had was finding the lobby. Being exhausted from driving all day didn’t help that. The lobby is connected to the restaurant/pizzaria. Katherine at the front desk was amazing and helpful! Got us a room quick and explained where it was exactly so we didn’t have to search for it. Definitely will stay there again if we’re passing through.
May 29, 2025 · Karlee MeekRoom 232 although I requested a quiet peaceful room trying to rest. Was probably one of the noisiest hotel rooms I've ever been in. Some sort of banging and clanking happens all night I'm not sure if I'm next to the laundry or what but it's significantly noisy. So much so you can hear the banging and clanking over the highway noise. For a room I would say the back side of the hotel is probably much better I don't need to be on the front side and look at the freeway and hear all of the noise. In addition whatever's making the noise next to me or above me is a lot and if I didn't have earplugs I don't think I'd have been able to sleep. The room itself isn't too bad You can tell it's a dated hotel. I did have to clean two cobwebs hanging off the ceiling. The fridge worked exceptionally well so much so it froze most my food so I didn't even think to adjust the temperature but needed to do that. It's nice there was a window to let fresh air in super crappy that I am right next to a hallway where all the people come and smoke. So not really a thing to do. Breakfast was fine they had scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, chicken nuggets, yogurt, and a pancake maker. Would have loved some fruit but none.
Apr 22, 2025 · Jeannie NiemanWe needed a place to stay on our long road trip. After reading many reviews at lower priced places in the area, we decided this was the place and it exceeded my expectations. Everything was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a drink at the attached restaurant and it was nice. Showers and coffee were hot and breakfast buffet is the biggest I’ve seen. If you have mobility issues ask for a first floor room. The office and restaurant are down the hill in a separate building. I would stay here again if I needed to be in the area.
Mar 29, 2025 · Shirley WinchellLocation was conveniently located off the interstate, but right next to a bar meant there was lots of activity at night. Rooms were older, but clean. When I went to check-in I realized I had made the reservation for the following week, but Jennifer was able to adjust that very quickly to get me and my kids into a room. Breakfast had a large variety of options; however, the egg "omelettes" had cheap nasty tasting "cheese" and the sausage was pretty dried out. Overall not the worst place I've stayed, but certainly not the best.
