Spent my birthday with girlfriends at Chateau Elan and it was overall a great weekend. It started off rough as we reserved a villa and there was a bug issue :/ But the night manager Stacey jumped right into action and moved us into the Inn. We worked with Taelar in the morning and he was the most helpful and pleasant. He was training Riley at front desk at the time but didn’t miss a beat and was responsive to all of my needs. Our second night was spent at the spa suites and they are hands-down AMAZING. Splurge and get the loft if you can. Staying at the spa changed the weekend for the better! The managers Jenn and Joe were on top of it/ they kept up with our group and offered tips on treatments and the resort in general. And Aimyia at reception is the definition of pleasant. Every time we saw her, she had a smile on her face and remembered us. I felt at peace at the spa suites. All in all, we had a few hiccups (some mentioned in this review and some not) but the entire staff was dedicated to making things right and ensuring I had THEE BEST birthday ever. Because of the staff and the spa suite, I will return.

The environment of Chateau Elan Winery & Resort is one of its most defining features. The spacious grounds allow for various outdoor activities and provide ample opportunity for relaxation and enjoyment of nature, whether through leisurely strolls, bike rides, or simply taking in the vineyard views.
Chateau Elan offers an extensive array of services and amenities designed to cater to a diverse range of guest preferences. This unique offering provides an immersive and educational experience for wine enthusiasts. The spa also features a dedicated set of lavish spa suites, some with lofts, for guests seeking an even more exclusive and tranquil wellness retreat.
For golf enthusiasts, Chateau Elan boasts 63 holes of championship golf, including two 18-hole courses and an executive par 3 course, along with a driving range and golf lessons. The resort is also pet-friendly in select accommodations (Inn and Villas) with a fee and specific guidelines.
Promotional information for Chateau Elan Winery & Resort often highlights its unique blend of luxury, recreation, and culinary experiences. The resort regularly offers various packages and special deals to entice guests. These can include themed packages such as "Sips of Summer," "The Dreamscape at Chateau" (offering significant credits for resort activities), or "Rise & Renew" focusing on spa experiences. Golf packages like "Legends on The Fairway" are available for golf enthusiasts. For longer stays, "Stay More, Save More" deals are often promoted. The resort also caters to groups and families with options like the "Villa Bodega Package," which can include pre-arrival grocery shopping and dedicated shuttle services to the villas. Seasonal and holiday-specific promotions are also common. While the resort promotes a high-end experience, it is important for prospective guests to be aware of the pricing structure. As noted in customer reviews, the resort charges a daily resort fee, and additional fees for self-parking or valet parking apply. Dining and beverage prices, while reflective of a luxury resort, have been commented on by some guests as being on the higher end, even compared to high-end establishments in major cities. This suggests that guests should factor in these additional costs when planning their budget.
Customer reviews offer valuable insights into the guest experience at Chateau Elan. Many guests consistently praise the beautiful grounds, the impressive architecture, and particularly the outstanding experiences at the Spa and the Winery. The staff, especially in the spa and the management team, receive high commendations for their attentiveness, problem-solving skills, and dedication to guest satisfaction, even when initial hiccups occur (e.g., bug issues in a reserved villa that were promptly resolved by management). However, some reviews indicate that while the overall experience is often positive, the "value to service proposition" for the main hotel and restaurants might not always align with the premium pricing, with some guests perceiving it as closer to a 2- or 3-star value for 4-star prices. Specific issues mentioned include inconsistent hot water in rooms and general service not always being "outstanding" at the hotel and restaurants. Despite these points, the recurring sentiment is that the exceptional staff and the quality of specific offerings like the spa and winery make the experience worthwhile and encourage repeat visits. For those searching "Hotels Near Me" for a truly comprehensive and luxurious escape with a strong emphasis on wine, wellness, and recreation, Chateau Elan Winery & Resort remains a compelling option, provided guests are prepared for its premium pricing structure and factor in potential minor inconsistencies in general hotel service.

Apr 30, 2025 · Chiquita Woolfolk BanksNot to be a Debbie Downer, but let’s start with the facts. If you're planning a visit and staying for a couple of days, go with the Hampton Inn. We didn’t stay at the main hotel, but our friends did, and based on their feedback, it’s just not worth the price. With a $300 difference, the Hampton is a much better value. We walked to the restaurants and winery every night—super easy access—and they also offer a free, on-demand shuttle, which is a great bonus. The food was good, the service was great, and the wine tasting was definitely worth it. Overall, the whole vibe was really enjoyable. That said, the prices were a bit of a shock. I get the resort atmosphere, and we were fully expecting higher prices—but this was on another level. We’ve traveled to major cities and high-end resorts around the world, and this place is charging more than places in London, New York, or LA. It’s kind of wild, considering it’s just outside of Atlanta. But hey, people are paying it—we did too—so I can’t really blame them. Just as an example: one of my drinks had about a 900% markup, compared to the typical 400–500% you’d expect most places. And I know what you're thinking—"You're at a resort, expect resort prices." Trust me, we were. But take that mindset and multiply it by four—that’s what it felt like. If you're okay with the price tag, it’s a great experience. Just go in knowing what to expect.
Apr 15, 2025 · HyperActive OutdoorsI had the pleasure of experiencing a wine tasting with Dahlia and it was AMAZING!!!!! She was very knowledgeable about grapes, the winery, the owners, and the process. She also had very insightful discussions with us about food pairing, wine pouring, and the 4 S of enjoying a glass of wine. She did all of this as she engaged with 15 people and never missed a beat! I will definitely do this tour again! Thanks for the wonderful experience.
May 19, 2025 · Otha BaileyI had a great time for my 1-day getaway. Joe, Jonathan and Patti in the spa were incredible! Truly looking forward to coming back - the level of service in the spa was outstanding. Patti was a miracle worker! Matthew at Marc was a great server and the food was phenomenal!

Gym is open 24hrs but website says 7 to 7 and some staff did not know hrs of gym. Wish gym had more free weights and dumbbells. Bourbon bar is great with stellar offerings, superb service and food I will be back again.
