This hotel was small and a little dated but we felt very comfortable and safe. The room itself was spacious with a king bed, TV, nightstands and a table. The elevator quacked like a duck which we quite enjoyed and the glazed donuts at the complimentary breakfast were possibly the best donuts I ever had. Would return solely for the donuts 10/10 :D

May 13, 2025 · Mary SpillaneI've stayed at the Lenoir Comfort Inn almost 4 months while working on a project in town. I basically live out of a hotel while working on a project. On a positive note, the rooms are relatively clean, the staff is relatively friendly, the complimentary breakfast is good and the ice machine works well. I only ask for my room to be serviced once a week. Even though I'm helping them out you'd think they would leave toilet paper and change the bedsheets. Nope, I have to ask for TP all the time and to have my bedsheets changed. You go to the laundry room but the door lock only works if you lift up instead of down like every other door in the place. If you inform them of it they tell you it works best if you lift up. How about getting it fixed?! People are so loud in this hotel, they called me once the first week I was here to turn down my music. That was at 7-8pm, can you get others to keep the noise down from TVs radios and dogs barking at 1-2-3-4am. I've been called several times by the staff after 9pm, waking me up over things that could wait until morning. Tonight I was called at 10:30pm saying they needed to update something, I was like do you know what time it is? I went to the front desk immediately, the guy there said he didn't call me, I must have called him. Ironic that he then said I sounded like the guy he just spoke to. If it wasn't him calling, how would he know what I sounded like? He said someone must have pranked me, from INSIDE THE HOTEL...seriously?! I get up around 5am on weekdays, should I or anyone need to tell the staff not to call people after 7/8pm unless it's an emergency? They should know that already! Half the time when you go to the front desk they're out front smoking cigarettes and if they don't see you, you have to wait until they do. The internet, if you can call it that, goes out several times a week or drops to such a weak signal you lose connectivity. I had to bring my home internet from home to have constant signal. The small workout room would be fine if the treadmill and elliptical were serviced, the treadmill continues to slip and jerk the belt while you're walking on it. I'd like to rate it higher but after 4 months of the same things over and over you have to say enough is enough.
Feb 18, 2025 · John PWhen my boyfriend from out of town visited me for valentines, I decided to stay with him at this hotel. The first room we had was clean for the most part, I found a skittle while moving the curtain and there were ants on the desk which wasn’t a huge issue as it was only a couple at first. One morning I woke up feeling terrible, couldn’t breathe, and noticed 3 spider bites on my hands/ one on my face. I went to the hotel market to buy some Benadryl and got the last one (it needed to be restocked so bad). Took the Benadryl and was okay for the most part, when we came back to the hotel later we asked to switch rooms. Now being on a completely different floor, you’d think we wouldn’t have any further problems. The next day I woke up with 6 new spider bites, 9 in total, all over my hands, face and neck. I went to urgent care because I was having some kind of allergic reaction to these and I knew it wasn’t bed bugs because I compared pictures online and even the doctor said it was resembling spider bites. My boyfriend went to the desk to let them know and asked about any spider problems they’ve had in case it was something we should be seriously concerned about. The person at the desk informed us that they hadn’t had any problems with spiders in years. He had no bites on him sleeping in the same bed so that was weird but not unheard of. I ended up not staying at the hotel for the remainder of his stay because of the bites. The food was decent but you had to get there early to get any biscuits. And they would start cleaning up before breakfast was over even when we were down in the dining area. Again, the market area very much needed to be restocked as they were out of most things. And the prices of water being $2.50 was kind of absurd to me but we move. The WiFi did not work. And people were blasting music in the parking lot late into the night. Staying here for a week sucked overall.
Feb 26, 2025 · Brooklyn BenfieldI don’t know who’s running the kitchen, but they know exactly what to cook and how to cook it. Breakfast is always good and the meats cooked perfectly. Always clean and arranged nicely. Breakfast staff genuinely deserve a raise. Also, the rooms comforter and bed sheets are so soft. The mattress is a little on the firm side but the soft bedsheets make it over tolerable. Front desk staff are nice as well. Would recommend!
Oct 24, 2024 · CatestrophRoom was dirty/dusty.. nightstand drawer had trash and receipts from the person staying in the room before us. Called the front desk about the constant running, jumping and banging from the room above us. Said they would take care of it and DIDNT! We got woke up 2/3 mornings around 645/7am . Absolutely ridiculous .
