The hotel itself was decent. I stayed in a one bedroom king room and it was a nice size and clean. The rest of the facility inside was also pretty clean. The housekeeping staff were all kind as well. Out of the three country inn locations this one was the most expensive and felt the least safe.. there are a lot of homeless drug addicts surrounding the area yelling and hiding in the woods near the facility. There are signs in the parking lot stating they are not responsible for damaged or stolen things from your vehicle.. I stayed at one of the other locations and it felt a lot safer, the room seemed bigger and was $200 cheaper. I will definitely be staying at a different location when I come back.

The rooms are clean and the staff is efficient. The included breakfast is pretty standard for a hotel breakfast. My biggest negatives with the room are specific to the room I stayed in. It was a room very close to the ice machine and a side exit/entrance, so lots of noise throughout the night. Second, the shower didn't have an edge so the water got a bit outside the shower, and there wasn't a shelf to place shower products except the floor of the shower.

We typically stay at Choice Hotels and this location is by far one at the top of my list!!! First time staying at this location yet the first thing, after the convenience to the Interstate, is the obvious care and cleanliness for the entirety of the hotel, including parking lot, lobby and rooms. When we arrived, my husband got us checked-in and said the gentleman at the front desk, Colt, seemed super nice - a high compliment as he doesn't make comments like this often! When we had a question, he was quick to answer with a smile! Our son is on-Spectrum yet Colt didn't look twice at him, simply shared his kindness and understanding!!! Wish all hotels associates could be trained by this extraordinary young man - HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location!

Asheville visitors, beware! False advertisement and possibly false reviews of this hotel... There is no Southern hospitality here!! Literally questioned about why we needed more towels when my child and significant other needed two towels to go swimming. Front desk Jenny's expectation was that they used to town not only to swim with but then she was the same child to dry off with after showering for the evening!!! No free cookies and Please be aware that you will be sharing your daily breakfast with multiple individuals that are not actual guests of the hotel that are permitted to eat breakfast on site due to knowing employees. ( Local workers construction?) Also if you're looking for drinking water here you might as well come prepared with your own pre-bought bottled water....... I became personally ill from drinking the offered water from breakfast and there was no water in the entire duration of our stay in the fitness room. Front desk was asked multiple times to offer water in fitness room. Also please be advised that the pool and hot tub are not currently available for use and they don't know when it's going to be available for use. We were presented with a.m. breakfast and observed a.m. kitchen attendance sneeze directly on muffin tray did not discard the items, proceeded to serve them and then smirk. Overall the room was cleanly upon arrival. Based on other experiences throughout our stay we chose to not have anyone service our room.

IM SO PISSED. This hotel charged me $250 for what they say was a broken tv. This is absolutely not true. The tv was working just fine when i left. I found out about this charge when i went to use my debit card and had insufficient funds in my acct. Now im out of state with no money. I dont know what happened to the tv, if anything. No one from the hotel bothered to call and at least ask what happened, if anything. I called the hotel to see what the charge was for and all they could tell me was it was a broken tv and the mgr was on vacation. I guess she needed some spending money. Then i called the corporate office and was told they couldnt do anything except start an investigation. Besides that the pool was closed indefinitely and it was hit or miss when it comes to being able to get in any door besides the front door. If you parked in the back you had to walk around the building. There were homeless people walking around all hours of the night. Definitely wont be staying there again
