May 04, 2025 · Shawntal IsaiahRooms were spacious and clean! Bed was comfortable! Really love that fact that there’s a microwave inside the room! And of course the mini fridge too… overall would stay here again if we ever have to make a stop over in Maine! 😊
Jan 06, 2025 · Justine SotoGreat big room for excellent price. Hotel looks brand new (but not) and modern with bistro, bar, computer stations. Room was big, clean and shining throughout. Location is among new car lots but easy to get anywhere quickly in Bangor. Highly recommended!
Dec 21, 2024 · Joanne CrepeauFirst off, the staff here are very nice and do a great job. I didn’t encounter one negative team member even the person cleaning the halls one night. The king with sofa bed room I was in for a couple nights was very well appointed, comfortable, and clean. My only negative with this hotel is the dining. Being a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member I get a $10/night credit for F&B per night as an option for a welcome benefit. I expected to pay a little for breakfast, but certainly not the $8 plus tip for a medium coffee and a microwaved breakfast sandwich. No fruit no side nothing, just a sandwich and a coffee for $18 without the credit. I tried dinner and it was better however still an express product, no draft beer at the bar, and expensive. Service was great with both of these experiences but I won’t plan on eating here again. The price of this hotel is usually on the higher side for Bangor but when the cost is more towards my company’s preference I’ll definitely stay here again.
Nov 24, 2024 · Dslgatewhen we first checked in, GINA WAS AN ABSOLUTE DELIGHT TO TALK TO! Sge was courteous, kind and VERY PROFESSIONAL!! she was fast giving us our key as we were exhausted from an event, I went right up to her rooms. The room was exceptional. I was just so pleased and got right into bed and very comfortable. The TV being able to pull it out to watch it, was great. that evening my husband went downstairs around 6:30 at night, and asked if the bistro was open. there is happy hour from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The young man who was working the desk was extremely extremely rude. he treated my husband like he was some type of poor commoner. giving him a look up and down with this very arrogant and Hi and mighty attitude. and just looks at him and says "obviously not it would be open right?" and just kind of scoffed at him and my husband said okay. we were told that it would be open for dinner or to get a bite to eat if we needed it. that was the only bad experience that we actually had except for when we woke up in the morning, we were under the impression it would be a free breakfast but maybe we were misinformed. I went to order a coffee from the supposed "Starbucks", that was there. and I can absolutely tell you right now that that is not Starbucks coffee. I don't care what the sign says, I drink Starbucks every day of my life at least 10 times a day, and that was the worst caramel latte I think I've ever had in my entire life. My husband said the same thing about his mocha latte. it definitely could not have been Starbucks coffee because it just tasted like cheap imitation coffee. The young lady though making the coffee was very nice and polite. I was really disappointed however that the only way of payment was by a card or by room charge. which is kind of an inconvenience for some people. Glad I had my credit card with me. cuz my husband was upstairs check out was a breeze in Gina once again was there to greet us as we were leaving. I highly recommend to this manager of this branch of courtyard Marriott, TO GIVE GINA A RAISE. PROMOTE HER. SHE IS AN EXCEPTIONAL PART OF YOUR TEAM AND SHOULD BE RECOGNIZED AS SUCH. AS FAR AS THAT YOUNG GENTLEMAN GOES, HE DEFINITELY SHOULD BE REPRIMANDED FOR HIS BEHAVIOR THE WHOLE FLAMBOYANT I'M A DIVA ATTITUDE, DOES NOT WORK IN A TYPE OF ENVIRONMENT LIKE THIS. VERY DISAPPOINTING AND VERY DISTURBED BY HIS BEHAVIOR. but overall, I would highly recommend this courtyard, to have anyone stay out if they're in the Bangor area. such beautiful rooms and exceptional treatment by Gina.
