The Courtyard Manchester-Boston Regional Airport is a Marriott property, which typically signifies a certain standard of quality and design. Reviews indicate a mixed perception regarding the hotel's age and upkeep. While some guests describe it as "super nice" and "nicely renovated," others note that it "is old and in need of major updates." Information suggests the hotel was constructed in 1997 and underwent a renovation in 2007. More recent information from 2023 also mentions renovations. This indicates that while the hotel has received updates, the extent and timing of these may vary, leading to different guest experiences. Generally, Courtyard hotels emphasize functional and comfortable spaces, designed for productivity and relaxation. The lobby often features flexible workspaces, comfortable seating, and access to the Bistro. The hotel's exterior and immediate surroundings are characteristic of a commercial area, offering convenience to local amenities and transportation routes. The mention of "walls and floors are super thin" and noise from "cars and trucks flying up and down the road revving their engines" suggests that sound insulation might be a concern for some guests, particularly those sensitive to noise from traffic or other guests. The "neighborhood" is described as "sketchy" by one reviewer; however, it's important to note that this perception can be subjective and may refer more to the general commercial and industrial nature of the immediate area rather than a safety concern. The hotel is located in an area with other hotels and businesses, offering a practical setting for travelers.
The Courtyard Manchester-Boston Regional Airport offers a variety of services designed to enhance the guest experience. A key amenity for travelers is the complimentary airport shuttle service to and from Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT). This service significantly reduces travel stress and provides a convenient option for air travelers. The shuttle generally operates from 3:30 AM to 1:30 AM, with a frequency of every 30 minutes (quarter after and quarter till), providing good flexibility for most flight schedules.
Dining at the hotel is primarily handled by The Bistro, a signature feature of Courtyard by Marriott properties. The Bistro typically serves cooked-to-order breakfast for an extra charge (approximately USD 7.00 to 15.50 per person), available from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM on weekdays and 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM on weekends. It also serves dinner and Starbucks coffee throughout the day, offering a range of American cuisine in a casual setting. While one review mentioned that "renovations meant no breakfast which was included in price of room," this specific situation may have been temporary, and guests should confirm current breakfast arrangements upon booking. The Bistro also features a full bar, providing a relaxing spot for an evening drink.
For recreation and fitness, the hotel boasts an indoor heated pool, which guests have described as "nice and warm and clean." This is a significant draw, especially during colder months, offering a relaxing and enjoyable activity. The pool is generally accessible from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with children under 13 requiring adult supervision. A well-equipped fitness center is also available 24 hours a day, allowing guests to maintain their workout routines. Free high-speed Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the guest rooms and common areas, ensuring guests can stay connected for work or leisure.
Other notable services include a 24-hour front desk, ensuring assistance is always available. The hotel offers a 24-hour business center, meeting and event spaces totaling 1,769 sq. ft. (with 2 meeting rooms), and valet and self-serve laundry services, adding to the convenience for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel is also pet-friendly, welcoming two dogs up to 75 lbs in designated rooms for an additional fee of $100 per pet, per stay. Both dogs and cats are allowed, and there is a small grassy area for pet relief on the property. Service animals are exempt from fees. This is a considerable advantage for those traveling with their furry companions.
The rooms at Courtyard Manchester-Boston Regional Airport are designed for comfort and functionality. Guests can choose from various room types, including King Rooms with sofa beds and Guest Rooms with two Queen beds. Many rooms are described as "good size" and feature a "king size bed and a couch with a big screen TV." The bathrooms are noted as "spacious and very clean" in one positive review. Standard room amenities include luxurious bedding, a work desk with an ergonomic chair, a mini-refrigerator, microwave, and a coffee/tea maker. Individual climate control ensures personal comfort. Connectivity options include phones for free local calls and flat-screen TVs with premium channels. Accessibility features are also available, including wheelchair-accessible rooms with specific amenities like grab bars in bathrooms, lowered electrical outlets, and visual alarms for hearing-impaired guests. Hypo-allergenic bedding is also an option.
However, one critical review pointed out issues such as "the heat in my room didn't work" and a lack of immediate resolution, where the guest was offered a room switch. This highlights that while amenities are generally available, guests might occasionally encounter maintenance issues, which, if not promptly addressed, can impact the stay experience. Despite this, the overall sentiment regarding room quality from other reviews leans positive.
As part of the Marriott portfolio, Courtyard Manchester-Boston Regional Airport participates in the Marriott Bonvoy® loyalty program. This program offers members various benefits, including earning and redeeming points for stays, access to exclusive member rates, complimentary Wi-Fi, and other perks like late check-out when available. In conclusion, the Courtyard Manchester-Boston Regional Airport offers a generally positive experience with its Marriott brand standards, useful amenities like the indoor pool and 24-hour airport shuttle, and a convenient location. While some guest feedback highlights areas for potential improvement regarding noise insulation and consistent room maintenance, the majority of reviews point to a comfortable and welcoming stay, particularly benefiting from its proximity to the airport and local attractions.

Get directionsThis hotel is old and in need of major updates. The walls and floors are super thin and you can hear every conversation and every footstep taken above you. The neighborhood is sketchy and the hotel sits on a road that everyone thinks is a drag strip. All I heard all nights were cars and trucks flying up and down the road revving their engines as loud as possible. I discovered right before I went to bed that the heat in my room didn't work and when I called down to the front desk they said they couldn't do anything about it because there was no one to fix it and I could just switch rooms. Would definitely not recommend staying here.
May 13, 2025 · Kevin BrockThis place was super nice! Pool was nice and warm and clean. The rooms are good size and nice they have a king size bed and a couch with a big screen TV. The bathrooms are spacious and vary clean! Highly recommend!!
May 18, 2025 · Corey GouletDid I have a bad experience? No. But would I choose this hotel again? No. The good: Nice location. Felt safe and comfortable (although a firmer pillow that wasn't so soft and squishy would have been nice). Reasonably priced. Kind staff. You can tell the hotel building is dated, but the efforts to provide an updated atmosphere inside are well done. The not so good: Horrible internet speed. Horrible room lighting (ladies, applying makeup is going to be difficult). Ridiculous to charge $5 a day to park - this is not a hotel in a downtown area, shared garage, etc., where a parking fee is expected - this is a typical suburban hotel where you'd never expect a parking fee.
Dec 20, 2024 · C JThe Courtyard Manchester-Boston is a clean and basic hotel conveniently located near the airport. It served its purpose perfectly for my early morning flight. The rooms are functional, though I did experience some street noise and could hear conversations from the neighboring room. Overall, a decent choice if you need a simple, close-to-airport hotel and prioritize convenience over complete quiet.
Apr 13, 2025 · Maya RThe location is great and easy access to the mall and many restaurants in the area, very close to the airport. However, the hotel common area, room and elevator are very dated! The room could use more lights, the AC and the bathroom fan is extremely loud. Staffs are generally nice. Not very pleased with the parking fee of $5 a night, especially this is not a hotel in downtown or so.
