Extremely Disappointing and Unacceptable Experience – BEWARE. BED BUGS I have been a loyal Hilton Honors member for decades and travel frequently for work. I had a HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE AT THIS HOTEL. Never in all my years of staying at Hilton properties have I experienced anything as appalling as my recent one-night stay at this hotel. I woke up covered in bites — approximately 30 on my arms and legs — from what appeared to be BED BUGS. I immediately reported this to the front desk, visibly swollen and uncomfortable upon checkout. The only assistance offered was a complimentary packet of Benadryl. No urgency. No escalation. No real concern for the severity of the situation. I was forced to visit my dermatologist doctor for treatment and was told they were bites from either bed bugs or fleas. Due to my excessive swelling and discomfort, I received a shot and a prescription. Despite offering to provide bills/documentation, the hotel has refused to reimburse my medical expenses or even take proper responsibility for what happened. This level of negligence and lack of accountability is absolutely unacceptable — especially from a Hilton property. I expected better. Travelers, especially loyal members, DESERVE TO FEEL SAFE and supported. I will not be returning to this Hilton Homewood suites at Manchester airport NH location and urge others to THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING.

While the Homewood Suites by Hilton Manchester/Airport aims to provide a comfortable and convenient experience, it is crucial to address recent guest feedback, which includes some very serious concerns. One review explicitly details a "HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE" with "BED BUGS," resulting in numerous bites, visible swelling, and medical treatment. This guest reported a lack of urgency or adequate assistance from the hotel management regarding this severe issue, including refusal to reimburse medical expenses. This type of incident is highly concerning and necessitates a thorough investigation and transparent resolution by the hotel management to ensure guest safety and well-being.
Another review highlights significant cleanliness issues, including "pub hair on the wall of the shower," "hair in the sink," "black hair all through the sheets," and a nightstand "full of hair and dust" with what appeared to be "a piece of cat food on the edge." While the front desk staff did offer a deduction on the bill, the overall state of cleanliness described is alarming and suggests a lack of attention to detail in housekeeping, undermining the comfort expected from a Hilton brand property. These reports contradict the typical standards and expectations associated with Homewood Suites and warrant immediate and comprehensive corrective action from the hotel's operational and management teams.
Despite these serious negative reviews, it's worth noting that other general information about the hotel online often describes it as a reliable option with positive aspects like its location and some amenities. However, the specific, recent, and detailed negative feedback regarding cleanliness and bed bugs cannot be overlooked and represents a significant area of concern for potential guests. Prospective visitors should consider these points carefully and, if possible, seek the most up-to-date reviews and direct assurances from the hotel regarding their current pest control and housekeeping protocols.
In conclusion, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Manchester/Airport offers attractive features like spacious suites with kitchens, complimentary breakfast, and a convenient airport location. However, the recent and severe guest feedback regarding bed bugs and cleanliness issues are critical concerns that directly impact guest safety and comfort. While the hotel has many appealing aspects, potential guests should be aware of these reported problems and may wish to verify the current status of these issues before booking to ensure a pleasant and safe stay.

Apr 26, 2025 · Kelly CarvenFirst let me start by saying that the lady at the front desk was absolutely wonderful and I wish the rest of our experience followed that. After parking our car, we headed to the room, it was past my daughters bedtime so I made her hop in the shower. No washcloths, someone's pub hair on the wall of the shower, hair in the sink...daughter fell asleep. A piece of plastic from a shirt was on the floor. Pulled down the covers, black hair all through the sheets. I called the lady at the desk and told her I was unable to switch rooms due to my daughter being asleep, but there was hair all through the bed and i used the extra bedding in the closet. She deducted some off my bill. I laid down myself and had my phone light on. Night stand was full of hair and dust and there's something that looks like a piece of cat food on the edge of it. Im disgusted. Maybe it's dog hair, either way the sheets were obviously never washed nor was anything cleaned
May 07, 2025 · Ellie BurkeRooms were recently renovated and designed nicely. We booked a suite bjg enough for 9 people/2 families to celebrate new years. We were very disappointed to learn the pool was closed due to an unforseen freak accident earlier in the day affecting the pool's filter system. We planned on making spaghetti dinner since the suite had a nice kitchen, however, one of the burners was broken, the bigger burner of the two of course. After an hour of trying to boil a pot of water on a tea kettle sized burner we gave up and ordered pizza. We really enjoyed the open living space between the 2 rooms with 2 queen size beds in each with their own bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and had nice down feathered comforters and pillows. All in all, we made the best of our time here and enjoyed our stay.
Jan 01, 2025 · Sarah PeckI was worried about the sound of planes passing overhead since it's right by the airport but we never heard them. The onsite laundry was great, all of the appliances worked well and it was comfortable. Also the provided breakfasts were really great for a hotel. It got a bit noisy when a whole kids hockey team showed up but the hotel isn't to blame for that. 40 kids under 10 years old will be loud lol
Feb 17, 2025 · RyanThe one night I spent at Homewood Suite was not bad as hotels go but I was unimpressed by the complimentary breakfast, lacked imagination and appeal. I appreciate that it was complimentary but a lot more could have been done to make it more appealing. The sausage and the scone came in one and two, nothing else offered made the grade. Besides that, the stay was not bad and would consider doing it again if I had to.
