Unfortunately, the lock for my room needed a new batteries. The Front Desk Agent, Jenny, made every attempt to get the door to work, however maintenance (Mark) was called to ultimately fix the lock. During the 2 hr wait, Jenny extended consistent customer service ensuring that I was comfortable while I wanted. Have to commend both Mark and Jenny for providing the best experience they possibly could based on the circumstances...would recommend that the management take the time to consider checking those batteries on a regular basis.

May 23, 2025 · CornellConsulting&AssociatesI live in Southington and have stayed at this hotel multiple times—it’s always a great experience! The location, service, and cleanliness are consistently excellent. This weekend, a few friends from New York came down for a business retreat, and I recommended this hotel. I’m so glad I did! Christian, who works at the hotel, made our stay even better. He was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. Thank you so much, Christian! We’ll definitely be back.
Mar 11, 2025 · Alexandra TeskeWe recently stayed at this hotel on Tuesday, April 30, 2025, and while the room was exceptionally clean, modern, and perfectly located—making it the best accommodation of our Connecticut trip—our check-in experience was deeply disappointing and upsetting. At around 8 PM during check-in, the front desk staff member named Jenny was extremely rude and unfriendly. There was barely any dialogue between us; we greeted her politely and stated that we wanted to check in. Her attitude and body language were unnecessarily cold and off-putting from the very beginning. During the payment process, my friend attempted to insert her Apple Card, which is made of metal rather than plastic. While trying to find the correct swipe direction, Jenny abruptly grabbed the card from her hand without asking for permission and swiped it herself in a noticeably aggressive and impatient manner. As someone who also works in the hospitality industry, I can confidently say this is unacceptable. A guest’s property should never be taken without consent, and assistance should always be offered politely and respectfully. After handing us our room key, she went completely silent. We looked at the card to find our room number and realized we would be on the third floor, so we began looking around for the elevator ourselves. Only then did she point out the direction to the elevator—without saying a word. This was far from what one would expect as a proper and welcoming hotel check-in experience. We couldn't help but wonder whether her behavior stemmed from prejudice due to our race, which is an extremely troubling possibility. Even if that wasn’t the case, her conduct was unquestionably inappropriate and unprofessional. I truly hope her attitude was not due to the fact that we are foreigners, because if it was, that would be a serious and deeply upsetting issue. However, if her behavior simply reflects her own personal character, then that too is a significant problem. A hotel of this standard, with such a beautiful and well-kept facility, deserves front desk staff who match that quality in attitude and service. Guests should feel welcomed, not mistreated. This encounter unfortunately overshadowed what could have been a flawless stay.
May 03, 2025 · Beyza Ela CalisBeautiful room, clean but we were placed into a room where the key didn’t work and forced to try it several times running up and down the stairs 3 times, till finally given another room. I paid for the room prior to coming and had no idea such a loud and big wedding party was there. It was so out of control. Both sides of us had loud parties which was understandable but due to that my bill that was already paid got messed up. Got charged twice and got charged extra fees for which I NEVER accrued! It’s been such a fight to get the charges straight. Such a bad experience.
Apr 09, 2025 · Lezzle StarsI rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Christina, the bartender at this hotel, was so awful that I feel compelled to share it. We were attending a wedding after party, and the bar service was previously coordinated, so we expected at least basic hospitality. Instead, from the moment we approached the bar, Christina was miserable. She had no interest in being there—no smiles, no pleasantries, just a cold, indifferent attitude. She seemed visibly annoyed that she had to serve us and acted like we were a nuisance. To make matters worse, instead of handling any issues privately, she chose to yell at us across the entire bar. It was completely unprofessional and made us feel embarrassed and uncomfortable in front of everyone. Christina could’ve easily pulled us aside to address whatever concern she had, but instead, she decided to make a scene. We weren’t rude or demanding, just trying to enjoy the after-party, but her behavior made the experience awful. It’s mind-boggling that someone working in hospitality, especially at a wedding, could be so rude and unprofessional. I’d expect a certain level of service when it’s paid for, but sadly, that was nowhere to be found. On a positive note, Allen at the front desk was fantastic. He was friendly, accommodating, and went out of his way to be helpful. It’s unfortunate that such great service at the front desk was overshadowed by such poor treatment at the bar. I hope management addresses this issue, as Christina’s behavior was a major letdown on what was supposed to be a fun and celebratory evening. Would not recommend her bar service to anyone.
