If you’re staying in Chandler or just cruising through and looking for a killer place to unwind, Bar 1912 at the Crowne Plaza Resort is absolutely worth the stop. This isn’t your typical hotel bar—it’s a full-on vibe. Let’s talk drinks first: outstanding. The bar team knows what they’re doing, and Marie—the bartender extraordinaire—was the highlight of my evening. She’s got that perfect mix of friendly charm, great conversation, and serious cocktail skills. Whether you're ordering a classic or something creative, every drink came out balanced, bold, and delicious. Her recommendations were on point! But hold onto your barstools, because the cheese curds? Oh. My. Goodness. These little golden nuggets were crispy on the outside, warm and gooey on the inside, and so addictive I basically inhaled them. You know you’ve struck food gold when you’re full but still plotting how to justify “just one more bite.” Yeah, they’re that good. The ambiance is relaxed and welcoming, the perfect spot to hang to wind down for the night. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, so after a great night at the bar, it was smooth sailing back to a clean, cozy space. Bottom line: Bar 1912 is crushing it—top-notch drinks, amazing food (seriously, get the cheese curds), and Marie behind the bar sealing the deal. Definitely a spot we’ll be returning to on future visits.

May 19, 2025 · MarllonDecent hotel but dated and needing some upkeep. Once you figure out how to kind of get to your room through the maze of stairs and or elevators that are behind the property, The rooms are pretty common. The overall cell signal of the area is poor at best so when you have to log onto the Wi-Fi, you are limited to what you might be used to on a regular basis. The bartending staff and the reception staff were excellent. The cleaning staff didn’t seem to bring any cleaning tools with. . For the entire week that I was here, there was some dirt that I had brought in on my shoes by the entry of the room, and it was never ever swept up. The bathtub had some serious stains and or rust around the bottom of the drain and the showerhead needed to be replaced as it was barely spitting out any water. The gap underneath the door allowed any unwanted critters to walk right into the room if they wanted to. If you can avoid it, get the second floor or higher because of the people that walked past your room at all hours of the day and night, limits the privacy you would have in your room for sure. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect for everything that you want to walk to in downtown Chandler with its charm and energies. In short, the people were good to great, but the rooms needed to be updated and some upkeep is definitely needed.
Feb 21, 2025 · Valentino MedvedI come here 2-3 times a year with my husband and we stay at the hotel. We love staying here! We eat breakfast every morning at AJ’s Restaurant and I want to give a big shout-out to Linda, who is usually our server. She is so friendly and personable to us. She is our favorite and a great asset to this establishment!
Apr 29, 2025 · Kayla BoudreauThe hotel is great nice pool nice size room overall it's not bad at all. I was extremely disappointed with two things in the hotel. 1. The pillows- the pills are so thick and so big it's impossible to use when I asked for a smaller pillows. They said they don't have any. This is not something I expected from this type of hotel. I would assume they should have more variety of pillows that also allow people that need smaller more flat pillow to have them if needed. 2. The second thing I didn't like is the AC - every time it turns on it feels like somebody is cracking through the door it makes so much noise that literally I thought somebody was breaking in Because of those two things, I had a hard time to sleep at the hotel and could not get a good night. Rest with that said I will not come back to it because of those things.
May 11, 2025 · Eldar CohenI wanted 2 queens but they were not available at the time of booking. At least the king room had a sofa bed. But when we tested the pullout, it was extremely uncomfortable, and wasn’t even made up. I was told there were no mattress toppers or spare second mattresses to put on top, the best they could do was a thin mattress cover, so the sofa bed was useless. I had to share the king with my son who sleeps diagonally since he’s so tall. The AC is very very loud. The front desk clerk did not do a good job keeping tweakers without a reservation and clearly using a stolen credit card from checking in. He could have easily stuck to his initial claim of being full. The couple didn’t even have any luggage. I saw them walk in from the street, so they didn’t leave it in the car. I didn’t feel safe knowing they’re walking around probably trying to sneak into rooms when housekeeping has the doors propped open. There is a large kids’ event this weekend, I think the clerks need to be trained better when they know lots of kids are going to be around. The TVs don’t support Airplay. The blackout curtains leave a gap in the middle. I was denied late check out despite being an IHG member which claims to offer free late check out. Definitely not worth even the group rate we had for the event.
