They said we owed a $200 for cat hair even though we paid over $550 in deposits for cleaning and pet fees. I was asoinded how cat hair alone could damage so much. Confused, I politely emailed them back asking for clarification and if they had pictures of said damages. They haven't responded to any of my emails or calls since and they still send me emails about the fee. Overall, very difficult to work with. Will often times not respond to emails and hit or miss when you call them. Not worth the living condition you'll be put in.

The apartment complex was not in the best part of town, and specifically the entrance to my door was outside of the gated community. I lived right above the leasing office which was on the street and not within the actual gated community, which did not feel exceptionally safe. There were also cockroaches... I bought Roach Motels and Raid Spray and every two weeks had to replace them/respray because of the large amount of roaches (in addition, these were LARGE roaches that required the XL Roach Motels). I also had a few problems communicating with the staff. Most of the time there didn't seem to be a problem, they were very useful in walking me through the leasing process, but there seemed to be problems calling them for short notice problems. There was a leak through the roof/lighting in my kitchen after a heavy rainstorm and I called and left two voice messages and never heard back. The next week emailed them to follow up because I could not get through to them on the phone and they said they never received my call. Overall would not recommend staying here.

We could not afford to stay in an extended stay hotel, and we wanted something more personal to stay until we found a home to purchase. The staff answered all my questions, and even addressed some of my concerns on a weekend (Randy), outside of normal business hours. I, nor my family, were bothered or harassed at anytime. All interactions with the staff were courteous and very professional. From the very beginning, they understood our needs and concerns, and they were please to help us get set up and registered. In fact, I was able to register on the drive across country. They used digital signatures to complete the transaction, and the process was quick and very manageable. The apartment complex was quiet and safe for my children and wife. The unit was decorated nicely with a feel of home. All the services and appliances we required were available to us, and we had no issues to report. When the end of my initial contract neared, I was contacted to make sure my needs were met and if we needed to extend, they were happy to comply quickly. In fact, I extended twice with no hesitations or concerns from Dwelling Suites. Unintentionally, I caused a little damage to existing blinds in the unit. I was upfront with the staff with what happened, and they did not get upset with me, but instead assured me that they will take care of it (after all, they do collect a deposit for times like these). I highly recommend using Dwelling Suites to meet any short-term and extended stay needs.

Not to mention the lack of communication from leasing; we've been trying to get clarification about a mysterious few hundred dollar fee we supposedly owe and why but they wont respond to emails or calls. Not worth the stay :/
