Jul 08, 2025 · Shari ThomasExtremely cool hotel! An old warehouse built in 1920 and historically refurbished to the beautiful hotel it is today. Super spacious rooms with full kitchen. They had free beer and wine when we arrived, and the breakfast was amazing as well with an omlette bar. Will definitely be staying here next time I'm in the Quad City area.
Mar 27, 2025 · Coleman ElliottI’m writing to express my frustration with the check-in experience I had at your property on Wednesday afternoon. While the initial check-in process seemed straightforward, I quickly realized that my key envelope was missing a room number. I returned to the front desk, where there were two guests ahead of me. I waited patiently, not wanting to interrupt the front desk agent who appeared to be assisting a guest with a lengthy issue. After quite some time without any acknowledgment, the agent finally asked if I needed help. I lightheartedly explained that I didn’t know my room number and also asked to purchase laundry soap. She looked up my room and directed me to the market to pick up the soap. I returned expecting to receive my key promptly, but ended up waiting another 20 minutes. Still trying to be considerate while the agent assisted the same guest, I held off on interrupting again. I even had to leave briefly to use the restroom due to the extended wait. When I returned, I waited some more, but finally approached the desk again, I was told the room key had been ready and sitting on the counter the entire time—completely unbeknownst to me. While I appreciate that the key was prepared promptly, the lack of communication and acknowledgment left me frustrated and confused about why I was still waiting. This experience made an already long travel day feel even more exhausting. The basics—like clearly indicating the room number on the envelope, and simple communication ("your room key is ready") —are essential and were unfortunately overlooked. I hope you’ll take this feedback seriously to improve future guest experiences. It's too bad this used to be my favorite hotel in the Quad Cities.
May 08, 2025 · Jose RuizVery nice hotel -Very spacious -A lot of counter space -Beds were super comfy -Complementary breakfast -Internet was 30Mpbs, and stable. No lag -Nice location, walking distance to a few restaurants -Just such a cute hotel room, very different from your normal hotel If I had to pick out one thing, I wish there was a desk chair.
Apr 19, 2025 · P RexWhile the hotel is really cute and situated nicely to a running trail, the water, and bars/restaurants, don't plan on sleeping if you are on the second floor above the gym area. Because of the acoustics of being an old warehouse, you will get woken up out of your sleep if anyone is on the treadmill. Then you hear the incessant thumping over and over until they finish. But then someone else starts.
