The rooms were very clean, even the bathroom. They were quite. Some people may not like a ceiling fan, but I love having one to sleep to. The fishing theme of the hotel was tasteful and not tacky. I was greated by a very friendly concierge. Staff were friendly and respectful of my dog that is nervous of people. The area is nice with a lot of walking along the river. I will definitely stay here again.

Jun 12, 2025 · Meaghan GroenemannMy family and I stayed at the Stoney Creek in Moline for the first time over the weekend for a quick getaway as our friends and family have recommended this hotel to us in the past. I must say, at first we were hesitant due to the reviews. It wasn't as bad as people make it out to be, but we did experience a relatively quiet and calm weekend and we didn't hear any loud kids running around or anything of the kind. While our experience with the staff was beyond amazing, the building needs a lot of work. The hotel has a camping outdoors cabin theme. AC was not the best in the room but felt freezing in the lobby. Breakfast was simple and not bad at all for a complimentary breakfast. Many bars to check out nearby and a bike path along the Mississippi river. The most disappointing part of our stay was NO HOT WATER to shower with in the morning. I went to stop by the front desk on my way to breakfast before check out to address the issue, but it appears that it's a building wide problem and the front desk girl was already being yelled at by a different guest for the same thing. I spoke to the front desk afterwards and asked for a discount instead of moving rooms and she apologized for what just happened and for the hotel not having hot water. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Stoney Creek Inn. We did not go in with high hopes but were pleasantly surprised with the breakfast, pool, location, and staff. I think the aesthetic and rooms could be updated all around. Allie, Elizabeth, Sara, and Abby were all amazing during our stay. We are looking forward to visiting in the future and hope it will be a lot better next time.
Jul 15, 2025 · Wise TravelerLodge feel at every corner but the comfort of a clean hotel. Solid WiFi. Very clean throughout. Staff are wonderful- so friendly and professional. Felt very relaxed during our stay. The place was packed with kids and families for a sporting tournament, which made it kind of overrun with running loud teens- otherwise it was a perfect stay. The staff was working hard and we appreciated how well they took care of everyone. I can’t say enough about how friendly and professional the staff treated everyone. Bravo!
Jun 14, 2025 · Its Just MeThe rooms are clean and neat. The staff is super friendly! We loved the pool and the cabin feel! Breakfast included. Our room was quiet and we completely enjoyed ourselves both times we have stayed! We will be back. Highly recommend!
Jul 05, 2025 · Kevin JareckiIt was okay. They messed up our rooms, and the 2 we got were just not very good. From what my mom told me, we were supposed to get 2 conjoined rooms. A suite with 2 queens and a separate standard king room with a door connecting the 2. We got a suite with 1 bed and a small standard 2 queen room, and they weren't connected. The suite was not very clean and there were a lot of stains in the furniture. The other room was small for a standard 2 queen room, and the queens themselves were pretty small, too. Also, when we went to breakfast Sunday morning around 8 a.m., there was not much for options. The pancake machine was broken, and pretty much everything was out of stock. The only reason we stayed here was for a wedding happening in the hotel. And the only reason I'm giving 3 stars and not less is because the wedding was very good. I think the hotel made the dinner and that wasn't really that great. The food choices were good, but the food quality wasn't the best. Hotel gets: ⭐️☆☆☆☆ Wedding gets: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
