Great Stay, Perfect for Summer in Scottsdale We had a great stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resort. The pool area was definitely a highlight - clean, plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas, and they even had free circle floats, which was a fun touch. Breakfast was solid. Didn’t love the eggs, but the French toast and pancakes made up for it. We had lunch by the pool one afternoon and it hit the spot - solid 8.5 out of 10. Rooms were big (which is why we keep coming back to Embassy Suites), beds were comfortable, and the A/C did its best against the 109° heat. It held up okay but was definitely working overtime. My wife especially appreciated the easy access to free water and ice throughout the property, huge bonus in that kind of heat. Overall, great experience and would absolutely stay again.

We stayed three nights. The staff at the hotel provided excellent service. The breakfast buffet is extensive and well stocked - though quite crowded because the convention center was booked. This also made parking challenging. Our room was well appointed though a little dated. While we were there several of the elevators were out of service. Our air conditioning was functioning but it turned on and off every few minutes (Seemingly unrelated to the thermostat setting). Overall, we had a nice experience and would stay again.

We stayed at the Embassy suites for Memorial Day Weekend and it was absolutely wonderful. Charolette checked us in and was so helpful and made sure we had all the information needed for a great vacation. She checked in with us a few hours later upon check in to make sure all accommodations were what we expected and they were wonderful! We stayed in the back building in a corner suite very spacious and close to the 24 hour pool even though the pool was open 24 hours zero noise from the pool which was great. Pool was clean and maintained all hours of the day. The breakfast was wonderful, cocktail/happy hour in the restaurant was comfortable and fun! All staff at the hotel front desk was very helpful getting us a shuttle or answering questions. Cornelius was the daytime bartender at the pool and reception hour and he gave us great local recommendations for sights to see or restaurants to check out. Phenomenal customer service 5 Stars!!! We have recommended this place to some of our friends who plan on going this summer and for spring training next year. Although the property is older they have done some upgrades that make it very comfortable and rooms are very spacious. We had no issues with AC in our unit and the staff was absolutely wonderful start to finish!

We stayed Wednesday through Sunday. The staff at the hotel are very kind and we received excellent service. The breakfast buffet is extensive and well stocked. Everything is great aside from the coffee. It's weak enough that they provide Folgers instant coffee to try and bulk it up, but it just doesn't cut it. Our room was clean and well appointed though a little dated. The balcony on each room is a nice addition. Our air conditioning was functioning but so loud. One morning, we had no hot water, but it was promptly resolved. The pools were both a little chilly on the cooler days but not unbearable. I'm sure they would be great during hotter weather. Overall, we had a nice experience and would stay again.

Our review from four years ago seems to have been pulled, but since people are still experiencing some of the same issues it is worth reviewing again. Where to start? The Ugly : The elevators were broken for two of our three day stay there. The first day and a half, they failed to post any warnings, do any signage, send any notifications out to their guests that the elevators were in disrepair. We got onto the elevator only to have it stop BEFORE our floor. AND the doors opened. So we had to crawl out of the elevators. Never stayed ANYwhere out of hundreds of hotel and motel stays where this has EVER before been a personal experience. Insanely hazardous at best. The air conditioning gave out in a room on a day it was over 115 degrees Fahrenheit outside. Our room temperature was exceedingly increasing to 90° verified by one of the hotel's engineers. The Bad : We were permitted to switch rooms, but it looked as if someone took a saw and cut weird angles on both the door to the "suite" we were "upgraded" to and to the bathroom door. The room had MOLD in it. At dinner, one of the evenings, we found actual bugs crawling through our food. 🤮 The pool had paint chipping off the pool deck area and inside the actual pool many broken tiles surrounded their older pool. The Good: The views, the location and the Omelet man named Guy. Fantastic omelets.
