We were in a one bedroom unit. Unique layout with walking into living area then proceeding down the stairs to kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The quality of the building seemed good. The only oddity was that the smoke alarm was right above the oven. While broiling, as soon as the oven door was opened, the alarm went off. Only other observation, but not in any way a determent with the stay, is that whoever painted last, you could tell they didn't really care about being careful. Woodwork had lots of splatter on it. Also, the location of the whirlpool tub makes for a very dark kitchen. Deck off bedroom was very nice. Our view was a wooded area. Very peaceful. Also loved that the washer and dryer were able to hold full-size loads.

May 16, 2023 · Terri BatzlerPretty and convenient location. Borders a golf course and is five minute drive from Rumbling Bald Resort, which has many amenities including more golf, a large swimming beach, kayak rental, indoor pool, full bar and restaurant, and tennis. We have seen deer, birds, and black bear here. Roads are very steep - not great for casual walkers or kids' biking. There are community grills, which we always make use of. Hard rains almost every afternoon but they blow over and evebing star gazing here is lovely. The region has a lot to offer, small mountain towns, beautiful scenic two lane drives, cute shops, and of course Lake Lure is relaxing and has a ton of Lake Life to give visitors. The condo has most everything you need to get comfortable and dig into a little vacation. The main grocery store, Ingles, is about a 20 minute drive near the south end of the lake. You'll need to restock coffee filters, toilet paper, and your food. There is a gas station store at the entrance to the condos and they have wine, beer, sodas, and a variety of things I can't begin to list. The condos are clean, furniture is in great shape, carpets are still nice, beds are soft. Cabinets and bathrooms are not the current design trends, but these are mountain condos so I'm happy with them. The AC works great and so does the fireplace.
Jul 28, 2022 · Christopher FieldVery calming with lots of leaves falling. We even grilled some steaks. We like the large heavy duty grills. The place was so clean and we enjoyed the hot tub. So relaxing and very comfortable stay.
Nov 20, 2020 · R GGreat place to stay when you want to get away in the NC mountains. Rooms are well apportioned, clean and comfortable. 2golf courses on site and several restaurants. Fantastic in the summer with the lake and nice pools for the kids.
Apr 30, 2022 · Carl CorningAwful experience. Apparently the air conditioning in this resort is deemed working as long as that's what maintenance says. Incredibly poor follow up on the issue. None! The rest became irrelevant as you could stay in the unit comfortably at anytime. Sleeping was... I'll stop here. The bottom line i get it that the air conditioning want working the fact that they said it was may be the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
