The location of Geneva's Hideaway is one of its most significant advantages. The property is located at 87 Centennial St, in the heart of Peterson, MN. The hideaway’s location also puts it within easy walking distance of local Peterson establishments, such as the Driftless Trading Post and Burdey's Cafe, which is noted by guests for its great breakfast. The town of Peterson is situated on Historic Bluff Country Scenic Byway (MN State Highway 16), which makes Geneva’s Hideaway an easily accessible destination for those driving from other parts of Minnesota. Jun 03, 2025 · Lawrence HeimsothMy family & I rented three rooms at Geneva's Hideaway to ride the rails to trails for a bicycling vacation. The rooms are very clean and well furnished. I liked having a good coffee maker and a nicely furnished kitchen. The cafe two blocks away which has a GREAT breakfast was a nice bonus. We will be back.
Aug 27, 2024 · Bob YoungWe had a great weekend in Room #4. Plenty of space and nice furniture. The bed was very comfortable. The apartment was very well equipped. The only suggestion would be to provide an electric water kettle.
Oct 23, 2024 · Richard VothWe just enjoyed a three-day biking getaway at Geneva's Hideaway around the 4th of July holiday. The location is very convenient to the trail system. No need to pack up the bikes to drive them anywhere. The parking lot is the perfect jumping off point. Just peddle a little over a block and you're on the trail. We always felt very safe. The entrance to our our space had a security pad that operates a dead bolt. But the whole neighborhood has a very wholesome and friendly vibe. A neighbor even greeted us as we offloaded our baggage from the car. It was handy to have a nearly full kitchen at our disposal, and we saved the cost of a few meals by making something in our own space. We had only a couple wishes: we wished we had a few more bath towels--there were three towel provided for the two of us to use for three days. We made it work, though. We wished there were more hooks and towel bars in the bathroom to hang things on. I would recommend this place to a friend.
Jul 07, 2023 · Michele MooreUber clean and convenient! Right down the street from the Root River Trail. Parking was easy-especially since we have a trailer for the bikes. Walkable town, so no need to drive. I loved all the accommodations (especially the provided coffee & coffee maker). Also, the hammock was a selling point for me after a long bicycle ride!
