While everything about this place is wonderful owners great location beautiful gardens great outdoor space the room is a great size and a spacious bathroom. But the bed was not comfortable very hard there was wooden chairs in the room but nothing comfortable to sit in to read a book or watch tv comfortably trying to do so from bed was made difficult by the wrought iron bed frame and placing pillows would form to the columns. To me that’s the 2 major things ,comfortable bed and comfortable seating.

The Coffee Street Inn is situated in an ideal location for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the Lanesboro experience. The address is 305 Coffee St E, Lanesboro, MN 55949, USA. This places it just a short distance from the town's most beloved attractions. According to its website and customer reviews, the inn is located only half a block from the famous Root River Bike Trail, making it an excellent base for cyclists. This accessibility is a major plus for locals who come to Lanesboro specifically for its biking opportunities. The inn also provides lighted, indoor, lockable bike storage with e-bike recharging stations, tools, and an electronic air pump, showing a clear commitment to catering to its cycling clientele.
The inn's location is also within a very short walking distance—about one and a half blocks—of downtown Lanesboro's restaurants, shops, and the Commonweal Theatre. This means guests can park their car and easily explore the town on foot, which is a key part of enjoying the Lanesboro atmosphere. A customer review specifically mentions the convenience of being a "very short block and a half from our favorite Pedal Pushers restaurant." The inn’s setting also offers a "bluff view" and is surrounded by "beautiful gardens," creating a tranquil and visually appealing environment. The convenient placement combines the best of both worlds: a quiet, secluded feel with all the amenities of downtown just a short walk away. For Minnesotans who appreciate both nature and culture, this accessibility is a huge draw.
In addition to the proximity to downtown, the inn's location on Coffee Street E also places it near other local services. The reviews highlight the convenience and quietness of the location, with its welcoming outdoor conversation areas. Based on public information and customer feedback, the Coffee Street Inn offers a range of services and amenities that appeal to its guests. The inn prides itself on being "immaculately clean and comfortable," which is a point echoed in customer reviews that describe the rooms and bathrooms as being a "great size." However, it is important to note the specific feedback regarding comfort. While the inn does offer Smart TVs in the rooms, this feedback suggests that guests may need to manage their expectations regarding the level of plush comfort in the furniture. Despite this, the review still highlights that "everything about this place is wonderful," from the owners and location to the gardens and spacious rooms. The inn's commitment to creating a welcoming environment and providing essential amenities is clear from the positive reviews of its staff and the overall atmosphere.

May 14, 2024 · Lisa YueThe family suite consisted of three bedrooms -- all with comfortable queen beds and a shared full bath. Perfect for three woman who prefer their own rooms. A very short block and a half from our favorite Pedal Pushers restaurant. We enjoyed the welcoming outdoor conversation areas and quiet.
Jun 14, 2023 · Marianne PatteeClean rooms, comfortable beds. Had a “home like” “inviting” atmosphere. Beautiful patio garden to enjoy morning and evening. Close to downtown and bike paths. Owners were exceptional hosts! They knew the area well and gave suggestions for activities in surrounding small towns. Lots of history in this area of Minnesota.
Jun 07, 2023 · Julie OrrWe stayed in the family suite. The place is under new ownership and they are making a lot of changes and improvements. The suite has three bedrooms for a great price. The beds are new and very comfy. The owner is quite friendly and gave great advice about the area. It is really neat, she is revamping the place by starting to redecorate with pretty antique furniture.
Nov 12, 2022 · Anne TownerThe girl at the front desk was nice, but the accommodations left much to be desired. The door to the room was so bad that I think we woke up everyone wrestling with it for 10 minutes trying to get back into our room, and we were afraid to close it again. A working door should be a minimum requirement. The room was barely bigger than the bed. That's not an exaggeration. We couldn't open the window because of the odor from a nearby cattle farm. There was a tiny fan, but we would have baked if it had been any warmer in there. The bathroom is shared by three rooms. If you're going to have a shared bathroom, provide a laundry basket so there's no pile of used towels. At least switch to a tankless water heater so people can get a hot shower if they have to wait to get in there. The only reason why I didn't rank it lower is because the price was fairly reasonable for a last-minute booking. The bed was comfortable. Definitely won't be returning.
