I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the service we experienced. First of all, it is an absolutely amazing, beautiful and historic building. Our room was huge and had very cool decor. The hotel building itself is very beautiful with a lot of interesting history. We did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant, but it looked wonderful. The bar was great and had a friendly vibe. We had an unexpected extra visitor on our last night and Michael could not have been more accommodating. He went out of his way after hours to bring us a rollaway bed for our son and it was very much appreciated. I would stay here again in a second. So glad we had the opportunity to experience this wonderful hotel.

May 27, 2025 · laura rohrsOnly decent hotel that I could find in this small town. This hotel was built in 1824. During the nineteenth century, the Inn played host to many famous personages as they made their way into the thriving new state of Tennessee. Among them were United States Presidents Andrew Jackson, James K. Polk, and Andrew Johnson. Staff was professional and nice. Visiting from Houston, Texas.
Apr 30, 2025 · Sam OlivaresDo not go there for food!! The food was great the service was great but they do not care about customers, They would not make my salad the way I wanted it. There was 16 people in my group. I was so mad I did not get desert or a coffee mug. They have a wedge salad with iceberg and a chef salad wit mixed greens, I wanted a chef salad with iceberg and they said they could not substitute. Does not make any sense to me why they would not do that.
May 30, 2025 · Karen YoungThis is a review of the tavern, located on the bottom floor of the Hale Springs Inn. I have never stayed in a room as we live in Rogersville, but I have viewed them when they are empty (patrons of the restaurant can see the rooms if they are not reserved). We have eaten at McKinneys Tavern multiple times since moving to Rogersville and it is my favorite spot to eat here. I love walking through the front door and feeling like I have entered another time, where architectural details and historical notes are preserved while embracing modern amenities. The food here is so delicious, whether you are looking for steak, seafood, chicken, creative apps or inventive drinks. They also do special features like singo on Wednesday evenings and sometimes a live harpist on the weekends, along with other special events. A wonderful stop along one of the most preserved historical streets in TN!
