Overall a good experience with staff, clean room, free parking, and good breakfast. I tried checking in online and getting my digital key but was notified the room wasn't ready. I got to the hotel early and checked in without a problem. The person at the front desk was very friendly and courteous. He gave me a physical key card in case i had issues, which I did. The digital key wasn't working on the side door of the hotel. I did forget to get the wifi info from him and the app didn't seem to have it either, but that's more of an app issue. The room was clean with the exception of a couch that had stains all over the arm rest. I didn't use it but maybe should have brought it up to the front desk. Another thing i should have brought up was the cracked window pane. The window which slides up to open, had cracks running all over the top fixed portion of the window and had clear tape (shipping tape) over all the cracks. I thought it was funny but its a definite safety hazard and a possible lawsuit for the hotel. I didn't try to open the window cause i didn't want to finish breaking it and it was 40 degrees outside. The cracks didn't seem to have an impact on the temp in my room, it stayed around 68 degrees just how i like it. The bathroom design was different from what I'm used to but wasn't bad. This part is not a complaint, just being critical. There were no towel bars to hang a hand towel after use. I dont like to leave it on the counter cause it doesn't dry as well. I used the shower bar. The other thing that was weird was the placement of the faucet on the sink. It is located in a corner of the sink and far back enough that you cant really fit your hands underneath the water without splashing it everywhere or it running all over the sink. It seems someone tried to get fancy and didn't test out the design before installing it in what i assumed is every room. I screwed up and reserved my room for 2 nights instead of 3, realizing it when they sent a receipt at noon while I was at work. I called up the front desk and I believe i spoke to the same guy that checked me in. He was able to extend my stay in the room and said he would get a message to housekeeping to leave my room alone. Again, he was quick, friendly and i appreciated he could accommodate me. On my last day before checking out, I tried the free breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. I didnt make waffles but it smelled great and they had a lot of toppings for them which i haven't seen in other hiltons. They had oj and apple juice in a self serve liter bottle but also in a dispensing machine. There was no cream cheese for the bagels but had pb, jelly, honey, etc. The eggs and bacon were very filling. I did think it was weird that an older, tall, heavy set white guy at the desk with a very unfriendly face walked over to the breakfast area, said something to a guy that was just at the desk, then casually grabbed bacon with his hand and then went back to the front desk.

Hampton Inn Binghamton/Johnson City Introduce

For individuals and families searching for reliable "Hotels Near Of Me" in the Johnson City area, the Hampton Inn Binghamton/Johnson City, situated at 630 Field St, Johnson City, NY 13790, USA, presents itself as a frequently chosen accommodation. As part of the globally recognized Hilton brand, Hampton Inn properties are generally known for their consistent quality, complimentary amenities, and a focus on guest satisfaction. This introduction will provide an objective overview of the hotel, covering its environment, services, features, and promotional information, drawing from available public data and recent customer feedback.

The environment surrounding the Hampton Inn Binghamton/Johnson City is typical of a suburban commercial zone, offering a balance of accessibility and convenience. The hotel is located off Field Street, providing relatively easy access to major roadways in the Binghamton/Johnson City area, including the Southern Tier Expressway (Route 17/I-86) and I-81. This strategic placement makes it convenient for travelers commuting through the region or visiting local attractions. Proximity to shopping centers, dining establishments, and other businesses is a key advantage, ensuring guests have readily available options for their daily needs. While not nestled in a scenic natural setting, the urbanized environment is practical and functional. It's close enough to Binghamton University and other regional institutions to serve visitors and academic travelers, yet removed enough from the immediate campus hustle. The overall setting is designed to facilitate ease of movement and access to the broader Johnson City and Binghamton communities.

The services at Hampton Inn Binghamton/Johnson City are largely aligned with the brand's commitment to providing a value-driven and hassle-free stay. A cornerstone service is the complimentary hot breakfast, which often includes a variety of options such as fresh waffles, eggs, bacon or sausage, fruit, yogurt, and coffee/tea. Recent reviews confirm the presence of a "good breakfast" with a variety of toppings for waffles and both bottled and dispensed juice options, although some specific items like cream cheese for bagels might be inconsistent. For connectivity, free high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, in both common areas and guest rooms. The hotel maintains a 24-hour front desk, ensuring that staff are available at all times for check-in, check-out, or any assistance required. Guest reviews highlight the friendliness and courtesy of the front desk staff, particularly noting efficient check-ins and responsiveness to requests, such as extending a stay or providing physical key cards. The property offers free self-parking, a valuable amenity for guests arriving by car. Other services typically include a business center, laundry facilities, and accessible features for guests with disabilities. While digital keys are offered, guests have reported occasional issues with their functionality on side doors, suggesting a reliance on traditional key cards for seamless access.

The features of the Hampton Inn Binghamton/Johnson City aim to provide a comfortable and functional room experience. Each guest room typically includes a clean and comfortable bed with fresh linens. Standard amenities generally comprise a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a mini-refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee maker. A workspace with a desk and chair is usually provided. Air conditioning and heating ensure climate control for guest comfort. Private bathrooms come equipped with complimentary toiletries and a hair dryer. However, recent customer reviews highlight some areas where room features may fall short of expectations. Concerns were raised about stained couches, particularly on armrests, and a cracked window pane that had been taped, posing a potential safety hazard. While not a complaint, the design of the bathroom sink faucet was noted for being difficult to use without splashing, and the absence of hand towel bars was also mentioned. These observations suggest inconsistencies in room maintenance or design flaws in some units. Beyond the rooms, the hotel generally features an indoor pool and a fitness center, providing recreational opportunities for guests. The presence of these amenities, when fully operational and well-maintained, enhances the overall guest experience, although specific current operational status due to maintenance is not explicitly detailed. The hotel also has an elevator/lift for accessibility and vending machines.

Promotional information for Hampton Inn by Hilton properties typically emphasizes the brand's promise of a "100% Satisfaction Guarantee," aiming to instill confidence in potential guests. For the Hampton Inn Binghamton/Johnson City, key promotional points include the complimentary hot breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary parking. The hotel's affiliation with the Hilton Honors loyalty program is also a significant draw, allowing guests to earn and redeem points for stays and enjoy exclusive member benefits. The pet-friendly nature of many Hampton Inn properties is also a common promotional aspect, though specific pet policies (fees, weight limits) should always be verified directly with the hotel. Special offers, package deals, and discounted rates are often available through the official Hilton website, the Hilton Honors app, and various online travel agencies. Guests are encouraged to check these platforms or contact the hotel directly at (607) 729-9125 or +1 607-729-9125 for the best available rates and any ongoing promotions. While the hotel aims to deliver a consistent experience, the mixed nature of recent reviews, particularly concerning room condition and minor service lapses (like housekeeping attempting to enter a room before checkout), suggests that prospective guests should manage expectations regarding certain aspects and potentially inquire about specific room conditions when booking. The positive feedback on staff friendliness and the quality of the breakfast, however, remains a strong selling point.

In conclusion, the Hampton Inn Binghamton/Johnson City, located at 630 Field St, Johnson City, NY, is a generally dependable option for those seeking "Hotels Near Of Me" in the area. Its convenient suburban location offers easy access to local amenities and major transportation routes. The hotel provides core Hampton Inn services such as complimentary hot breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and 24-hour front desk assistance, which are widely appreciated by guests. While the rooms offer essential features for a comfortable stay, recent guest feedback indicates that some areas, particularly regarding room maintenance and certain design choices, may require attention. Despite these minor issues, the hotel's strong points, including friendly staff and a satisfying breakfast, often contribute to an overall positive experience for many travelers. Prospective guests should weigh these factors and consider confirming specific room details if cleanliness or structural integrity are significant concerns, while still expecting the general quality and convenience associated with the Hampton Inn brand.

Leaving a 1 star review for 1 major reason and 3 minor reasons. Major: Housekeeping attempted to walk into my room with my wife sleeping at 9am. Check out is at noon. When raising this issue to the front desk attendant their only response was, “that was probably Housekeeping and I’ll find out who it is.” No apology. I’ve never had housekeeping come to a room of mine on the day of check out while I was still sleeping in the room. Minor issues: shower curtain was ripped in multiple places, sink the bathroom would not drain for hours, and the blinds for the window were inoperable. We had to stack our suit cases to block the parking lot lights at night. Have stayed at many other Hamptons before and never had the major issue I mentioned above.

Reserved a room, had confirmation email with me when I tried to check in. The overnight desk guy was ignorant and told me I could not check in at 5am. I had a Corporate lodging card where we are allowed to check in at any time. He argued with me and said "that's not how we do it around here". I have been using this card for years and EVERY HOTEL honors this policy. I am a truck driver and did not have any drive time left so I had to catch an Uber to a different hotel. I have already informed my company to let our employees know to not go to this location.

This is the worst ever experience I have ever had. Didn't expect it from a Hilton brand hotel. The behavior from the breakfast attendant was rude and arrogant, so do from some housekeeping stuff. Breakfast hours were until 10 am, but by 9.25 a.m., many items were out and not refilled. While asking for justification, their attitude was like we were like staying there for free, and they are doing charity on us with free food.

So this place is an absolute joke the staff is full of blatant liars, they try to charge you for smoking in the rooms (additional $200 fee) even if you don't do such a thing, but they know you're a smoker. They will go in your room without permission while no one is in it. Doing what? Not sure?! being nosy? or inappropriate? Either way felt completely violated. This place was unprofessional on every part of the stay that I can think of I wouldn't recommend this place to an enemy let alone anyone else in the world. They basically are scam artists that should be sued and shut down as far as I'm concerned. I hate liars an thieves and they are 1000000% both!
