My husband was post surgery and I reserved a handicap accessible room. I called twice to let them know we would be a little late, 9pm. We got there to find out our handicap room was given away. We were then given a room where some of the lights didn't work, had to move. The lights in the hall were missing and I could see the pipes. My room was so dirty I could barely breathe. My husband could barely move with a walker. It was a nightmare. Wish I had read the reviews beforehand..... The night worker was very sweet and overworked

May 21, 2025 · Patricia KingSo bad that I had to go to a different hotel. My husband and I had a room reserved on 5/8 for his work trip. The first room I was offered had excessive dust and carpet bugs. I went back to reception and requested a different room. The male employee on shift was in the back watching TV and could benefit from having a bell or something on the counter for guests to get his attention. I called for him and he looked on the list and gave me another room. I'm unsure if he even marked the first room down to state it had an issue. The second room was WORSE by far. It was on a lower floor adjacent to the construction. I resigned myself to expect more dust. However, as I was checking the bed I found several spots indicating bed bugs. It's never good when you search for images and finding your own pictures matching exterminator websites' section on bed bugs. Frustrated, I went down to inform the receptionist that I couldn't stay there. He honestly didn't seem surprised by my complaint and gave a quick "I'm sorry, I'll cancel it and you won't be charged". My husband had dropped me off before his business meeting to check in so I didn't have a vehicle. I asked the receptionist how close other hotels were and he pointed in the direction of others. I asked if the distance was walkable and he said yeah, no problem. .6 miles is technically walkable, it was a bit unpleasant rolling a large suitcase on a path of terrible sidewalks in the afternoon heat. As gold Hilton honor members, we were left feeling very irritated. Fortunately the staff at Hilton DoubleTree were extremely welcoming, apologetic (for an issue they had nothing to do with), and accommodating. They weren't surprised by my experience and stated they were familiar with many issues at the Hampton Inn. Hampton Inns are our default of the Hilton chain and we haven't ever had an experience like this before.
May 19, 2025 · Sabrina TeranRoom 106. The room smelled of deodorizer upon entry, but as it wore off it started to smell like wet dog. The cable had been reset the day of my arrival and the channels were all scrambled, the WiFi didn't work, the carpet was dirty/stained, the bathtub caulking needs to be replaced due to mold/mildew, and the breakfast was less than adequate for a Hampton Inn. Bed was okay, pillows were terrible..small and lumpy. The chaise in the room was very comfortable, though, and the water temperature and pressure in the shower were great. Staff tried to be helpful, but could only offer apologies and documentation of issues. Thank goodness it was a cash and points night so the out of pocket price wasn't terrible. This was not my first stay at this location, but I'm not sure I will stay here again.
May 13, 2025 · Mindy WilliamsIt's disappointing for a Hampton Inn. The room smelled like cleaned with dirty rags. There are usually shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. There wasn't any. The breakfast was poor. Being a diamond member, I expected better.
May 18, 2025 · Gary HerrmannThis place is a dump. Everyone was more interested in their cell phones, EXCEPT, the guy in night shift. I don't even know if he had a cell phone. He offered to make me fresh coffee on my way out. Was very pleasant and conversational. This guy was the only saving grace. The hot tub had shit growing in it. I felt dirty when I got out and had to go shower. The swimming pool had garbage all over the bottom. I suspect they rent rooms by the hour in this dump. Even the breakfast was pathetic. I refused to eat anything.
