We were staying here for a wedding, and it was a fine hotel. Positives: + The staff were pleasant each time we had to interact with them. Especially the very friendly breakfast buffet staff. + The breakfast buffet was much better than expected, with lots of hot dish options, a waffle maker, cereal, and more. The staff even got a whole plate of turkey sausage for a member of our group who couldn’t eat pork. We also liked the round-the-clock hot beverages station. + The room was quite spacious, giving us plenty of room to avoid tripping on our luggage. And the bathroom counter had plenty of space for two peoples’ stuff. + The parking was free and the parking lot had plenty of space. Negatives: - When we were there, the pool was under construction. I don’t remember seeing an alert about that on the website. And other hotels I’ve stayed at have sent emails to let folks know in advance. - The fitness center/gym cardio equipment was 4-5 machines and 3 were broken. - The bathroom in the room had only a very weak exhaust fan to remove humidity or bathroom smells. And the shower hot water was extremely hot.

May 05, 2025 · Jenny WeiIn town for a memorial service. Hotel and rooms are nice. The first room we were given had a non working light in the bathroom. Called the front desk, clerk asked me if I wanted to wait another day for the light to be fixed. Uh, no. I'm not showering in the dark. I was told to come down to the lobby to retrieve keys for a new room. She just handes the keys to me, no other words spoken. Tredge back upstairs only to find out the key didn't work for the new room. Went back downstairs, no apology given, and was relocated to a new room I am disabled and have mobility issues. I was asked if I need, nor was I offered not one bit of assistance. Get rid of that front desk clerk. She doesn't belong in customer service.
May 16, 2025 · Amie RogersFront Desk is great! Transient public traffic is extremely loud and rude. Kids screaming, dogs barking, neighboring rooms playing music until midnight or later. This hotel needs renovating BAD, but the location and front desk service are actually very solid. If you're willing to sacrifice sleep for being close to great locations to explore, then expect to feel jetlag.
Mar 23, 2025 · Ryan GumbleStayed at this location last month, I was originally booked at the Hilton Garden Kennett Sq. but my reservation was moved due to a flooding issue. My stay at the Hampton Inn very nice. Great breakfast every day and very helpful staff.
May 06, 2025 · Greg ParsellLet me start by saying I travel a lot, and I’m not that picky. This hotel is extremely dated and badly in need of a remodel. I can overlook that. There was a minifridge in the room, but it was just sitting on the floor as you entered the room, and it was not cold at all. It is plugged in and running noisily. I can also overlook this. What I absolutely can’t overlook is the fact that the bed is an ancient innerspring mattress that was somehow overly firm yet also had springs stabbing me in the hips/back. The springs pop loudly when you rollover. My husband and I drove 8 hours, and got to our room exhausted at 11pm just wanting to sleep. It is now after 2am and neither of us are asleep yet because the bed is literally too uncomfortable for us to sleep on. There have also been very loud kids running up and down the halls ever since we got here.
