This hotel was fantastic. I had a bad experience at another hotel in the local area the first night I was in town, so I switched to this hotel and what an incredible difference in well, everything. The hotel is clean, beds are comfortable, everything works like it should and the people working there are fantastic. Becky checked me in, she was very well put together, looked and presented her self very professionally and was just a great friendly face to have greet you when you arrive. She treated me like I was the CEO of IHG (which I am not), but I very much appreciated that feeling of being important. She upgraded my room for free and got me squared away. After I got to the room, about 15 mins later Becky called me on the room phone and asked how my accommodations were and if everything meet expectations. Mind blown, I travel a lot and never had this level of customer experience in my 25 years of traveling. I thought maybe Becky was just being Becky, but it was evident when I checked out with Bruce the customer service manager that the hotel has a great culture of customer service. If IHG wants to set a baseline for what customer service should look like, use this hotel as your pilot. Oh and let’s get Becky on some sort of track to management, she would be a great asset to have at the next level.

The room had everything I needed, and the location was perfect for getting around. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!
Apr 28, 2025 · C43DRoom was on the clean side, I would say average for a 2-star. You won't be disgusted, but you'll probably notice little things. The mattress was new an the bed comfortable. However here's what might upset you that got to me. Only 2-bath towels in room. I booked a room with pull out sofa bed. No sheets for the bed were in the room, when I went down stairs to ask for sheets, I was handed sheets with no pillow. When I ask for the pillow, I was given the pillow but only after "I'll see if I can find one" was said and the tone let me know this would be a dice roll. Outlets in the room wouldn't take an adapter, the reason being the plate on the wall outlet not secure, so the slightest big of weight from say an Apple power charger for a MacBook would weigh it down too much. Want to hook up a Roku stick or game system like a Nintendo Switch? FORGET it. The TVs have no manual input select on back Remote designed to not let you do this. I've had good experiences with Holiday Inn's and Expresses in the past, unfortunately I have to rate this the worst, but still better than many other options at its price point.

The beds are super comfortable. Our toilet was running and didn't flush easily. They were also overwhelmed with breakfast and were out of everything.

The beds are very low quality and you sink into the mattress. This is another hotel that promotes drinking and driving. No whirlpool in the pool area for adults to relax in, no beer sales from their hotel snack area for adults to unwind with. Breakfast starts at 6:30 when blue-collar workers (Technicians alike) have to hit to get to their jobsites for working a 7am start time. When traveling with a coworker, you might as well share a room because the micromanaging managers pre-assign the rooms like a MOTEL and put coworkers in rooms right next to each other because they do not trust the workers at the check-in desk to do it and let co-workers get some space when not working. LikeThey claim it is to make a guest feel more welcomed. If that was the case, then put a plate of snack with my name on it in the room before I check in.
