A Hidden Gem Worth Every Penny! We had an amazing experience staying at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The front desk will message you to ask if there is anything you need daily, (you can opt out of this if you don’t want to be bothered as well). The rooms were spotless—truly some of the cleanest I’ve stayed in, annd there was a full sized refrigerator and full sized Convection microwave oven—and the saline pool was such a refreshing bonus. What really stood out was the breakfast: delicious, varied, and far beyond standard fare. And the fresh coffee available all day (including decaf!) was the perfect touch. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone seeking comfort, cleanliness, and warm hospitality. The location was amazing. This hotel is within walking distance to the cute Lacrosse downtown, Perle Strret Ice Cream Parlor and the amazing Pearce Street Book Shop (must see)! Stay here 💯

Nice room, but it would be nice to have the shelves on the walls like the Home2Suites have bz with a large family it gives everyone a place to store their stuff off the floor. Pillows could be higher quality, beds comfortable. Now for the bad part, one of the worst breakfasts we have had on our 2 week trip. The eggs and omelette were over cooked and had burned areas. The sausage was overcooked and Very dried out. The yogurt tasted old. We hung around a little while but she never refilled the eggs with fresh ones, so it was eggs with over cooked burnt edges or nothing. We decided no eggs for us. The icing on the cake was the American Dog Tick climbing up the push open door by the elevators that we went out to load the car. When we left the tick was still hanging out on the edge of the door at head height waiting for someone to brush against it, Gross. It was this morning at around 8:15.

Disappointed, very disappointed. The pool was important in our lodging choice and when we arrived it was closed, not opening till 3 days later. There was heavy walking noise above the room for 2 nights and a dog barking early one morning. Parking was full two nights and we had to park in a public parking garage. Sheets fit the bed very poorly and wouldn’t stay on. And to cap this off, they changed the hours on the breakfast from closing at 10am to closing at 9am with no sign or anything. Just closed. I asked to have a manager call me, which would likely have avoided a negative review, but no call was made. I can only conclude they don’t care.

The location was excellent, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly! However, the mattress showed signs of wear, so I had to sleep on one side of the bed rather than the other, but this wasn't a dealbreaker for me. Their refreshment center was better stocked than at most locations. The only issue I noticed was that there were no clearly marked parking spots for Diamond members. Once again, this was not a dealbreaker.

First off, the hotel itself is quite nice. The location cannot be beat if you're doing anything downtown in La Crosse. The problem came in after I was given a room key, went to my room, took a nap, and then went out for dinner and to a concert. When I came back about midnight or so, my room key didn't work - but someone inside of the room heard me fiddling with the door and opened it, which is great - except that I was staying alone. Somehow they had given someone else my room and had it cleaned while I was out. They moved my bag and a few other things down to the front desk and didn't let me know until I got back to the hotel. That's kind of a rude way to be welcomed back to what you thought was your room when you're looking forward to going to sleep. After some confusion about the hotel being sold out and maybe not having a place for me to stay, they discovered that I'd been given the wrong room in the first place. I was given a key to the correct room and I took my stuff up to it and went to sleep. Getting people the right keys to the right room seems like pretty basic hotel stuff. I'm still not sure what happened. I haven't heard from the hotel management like the person at the desk said I would.
