It is mind boggling how much sound travels between rooms. I literally thought the door between rooms was open. I could hear every word of these people’s conversation. Staff was not very effective at resolving the problem as it took about two hours to resolve (finally some quiet at 1am!). Which is wild because I have to assume they need to address issues like this often. Don’t stay here if you have to wake up early and work!

May 21, 2025 · Joy FlanaganI grew up in the Mid-Hudson Valley, and was always curious about this hotel due to the building’s industrial history. I was really excited to visit for the first time last month — but I left feeling embarrassed that I suggested we stay here. The idea for this hotel really gives it a head start for potential success, but they have severely missed the mark. They do not have a single suite that includes a kitchenette, which is absurd because any hotel you go to nowadays has at least one option that has a standard microwave and induction stove. They have rooms with mini fridges, but they are stocked with overpriced beverages which makes it impossible to fit any of your own items inside. The bathroom doors inside the suites roll across the door frame and there is no way to lock them or secure them from shifting 1-3 inches open after you close them, which completely obliterates any sense of privacy. The freestanding bath tub was great, but I’d choose a bathroom door that actually closes over a stylish tub any day. I also did a jaw drop when I looked closer at the rugs in the room and realized they have skulls on them. I understand that they’re working off of the cemetery nextdoor, but it comes off as tacky and ridiculous. Another important thing to say: do NOT bring toddlers here. There were so many electric cords and outlets in our room, we had to rearrange the furniture just to keep our 1 year old away from things that would be dangerous. I have no idea who had the bright idea to put standing lamp glass chandeliers in the rooms, but they should be fired because of the anxiety I had trying to keep my daughter from shaking it and potentially knocking it over. We also requested a crib from the front desk and they brought us a broken pack-and-play, which was ridiculous. The only reason I’m not giving this place 1 star is because the restaurant was actually quite nice. The menu was reasonably priced, and the food was tasty. The servers were all very friendly and attentive to us from the time we walked in to the time we left. I wish the rest of the hotel was as nice as their restaurant, and they really could step up their game just by changing the things I described in this review.
Apr 21, 2025 · Liz SantaStaff was friendly and nice and restaurant had decent food. The decor in the rooms is decent but the walls are so thin it is literally like your neighbors are in bed with you. Don’t expect to get any sleep if there are visitors staying on either side of you, you can literally hear EVERYTHING!! Can hear music from the 1st floor up on the 3rd floor with parties going on. Bring ear plugs!!! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! Nothing like several sleepless nights!
Apr 06, 2025 · Heather MenkeThis is by far one of the nicest mid priced hotels I’ve ever stayed in and certainly one of the nicest Hyatt property’s. Rooms are large and spacious with a great mini bar. Hotel was once a vinyl record manufacturing facility so it has this cool industrial vibe. The bar is very nice and breakfast was quality with great selection. And breakfast staff and front desk were great. And if you’re lucky enough to get an east facing balcony view you see the sunrise over the Hudson. I highly recommend this hotel.
Dec 14, 2024 · Steven CotchHave to say, I’ve had hit and miss times here. The newer staff is amazing. Really professional, conscientious, caring… they went out of their way. I’d like to recognize Angie, Brittany, Kate, and Thomas in particular. They all went above and beyond, and were happy to help and make sure we had a great stay. I stay at this hotel a lot, and this was by far my best experience yet. Thank you all.
