The whole location is very outdated, the place have many shady people staying long term, and the parking lot is very small and dark. There are people hanging around in the dark parking lot all night. I had a Penske truck , and someone stoled the driver side whole side mirror. The staff and service were also bad. The only positive was the room which had very dated furniture, was clean. I stood during the middle of the week and it was at least quiet in the room. I would not recommend staying here . I had to stay in the area for business another two weeks. I checked out and went to Best Western Plus

I’ve stayed now 3 times - This hotel is either severely understaffed, or under-funded. Numerous maintenance issues; however, for what it’s worth I can say my rooms are clean. If it weren’t for the other maintenance problems, I would have chalked up the shredded curtain in my room as a mishap. Over my 4 day stay I started noticing more things. Standing water for 24 hours in the elevator. 5th floor hall reeked of piss for 2 days like somebodies dog was peeing in the hall. 1st floor hall had multiple noticeable stains. The rear entrance card reader was on the verge of worthless. Taking 30ish swipes to register. On my last day the elevator was out of order. With all these maintenance issues - I have to wonder what I’m not seeing. Do the fire sprinklers work? When was the last time they had an inspection on their elevators? On my third stay I got a shredded curtain in a 2nd room (two separate photos attached). 3rd time I stayed my card magically quit working 3 times in a row after a single use. I had assumed that it was just their faulty card reader on the access door, but it also would not work for my room, requiring me to take the slow elevator and wait in the mega slow line to get service. I found more stains on the floors during this stay (will try to add photos). This is at best a 2 star hotel. After 3consecutive stays with terrible quality I’ve decided I have given them enough opportunities to change my mind.

My recent hotel stay offered an unforgettable sensory experience! The staircase had a unique, earthy aroma – I'm pretty sure it was 'eau de urinal cake.' And throughout the hotel, a distinct, herbaceous scent prevailed. Five stars for originality, and a truly 'relaxed' ambiance!

I’ve never written a bad review before, but I feel compelled to share our experience at the LaQuinta Inn, 65 Orchard Park in Greenville, SC. Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. Our room had bugs, and the phone didn’t work, which made it difficult to reach the front desk when we needed assistance. Another couple traveling with us experienced issues with their room as well. We were told that dogs were not allowed on the second floor, which is where our room was located. However, a dog barked frequently—four out of the five days we were there—making it hard to relax and get rest. There was no manager on duty during our stay, and we were informed that the general manager, Marcus Johnson, was away on a two-week business trip. We were told he would contact us within 24 to 48 hours, but we never heard from him. We were also told the exercise room would be open the next day, but it remained closed throughout our entire visit. Overall, the staff didn’t seem concerned or helpful. This isn’t the kind of review I typically leave, but we expected a better experience. I hope this helps others make an informed decision.

Our stay here was a disaster. Check in was easy enough but our room was on the 6th floor and the elevator was out. Luckily they had a 2nd but we had to haul all our luggage and kids to the other side of the building. There was trash in the hallways and it smelled like smoke. One of our beds was missing bedding. The tub hadn't been plumbed correctly so there was standing near the drain that couldn't go down and left an obvious stain. In the morning we discovered that both elevators weren't working so we had to take the stairs down to breakfast, carrying our two kids. Breakfast was a joke. Kids were excited to get a muffin and chocolate milk. They had neither. In fact, when I tried any of the drinks, it was just nasty tasting water. When I told the staff, they just shut off the machine and didn't say anything else. No muffins, bagels, pastries, etc, that you'd expect. Just a few pieces of toast but no jams/jelly's. No fruit. We had to get breakfast somewhere else because there was nothing my wife could eat and nothing the kids wanted to eat. Back up 6 flights of stairs, only to discover my key card want working any more. Had to run back down stairs, get a new one, and back up. Packed everything up and then hauled luggage and kids back down again, 6 flights of stairs. Will never stay at this or any La Quinta again.
