We booked this hotel last-minute after our flight was canceled and rerouted through Nashville. Initially, things seemed promising—we received timely text updates about our reservation and shuttle information, including a note that the shuttle ran until 11pm. Unfortunately, that’s where the reliability ended. When we tried calling the shuttle line, the call repeatedly disconnected. We then tried calling the front desk—same issue. Even La Quinta customer service was unable to reach anyone at the hotel. After over 90 minutes of unsuccessful attempts and with no other option, we paid out of pocket for a taxi to the property. Upon arrival, we were shocked. The hotel is undergoing renovations, but that’s putting it lightly—it was completely gutted and clearly not in livable condition. Hallways were under heavy construction, and no available rooms had functioning air conditioning. The front desk staff kindly walked with us to find a workable room, but what we saw was deeply concerning: occupied rooms with doors propped open and box fans blowing air in from the hallway, likely in an attempt to compensate for the heat. The humidity and smell of moisture were overwhelming—we feared there may be mold present. We were traveling with our 10-month-old baby, and there was absolutely no way we could safely stay in that environment. This hotel should not be open to the public in its current condition. I will be reporting this situation to La Quinta customer service and looking into how to notify the city as well. Travelers deserve transparency and a safe place to rest—this property provided neither.

Jun 19, 2025 · Mark-Anthony OjedaI never write reviews but I would like to say that the staff here go above and beyond. I don’t remember the mans name, but he was so helpful when we came in at around 2am on Saturday. Bonnaroo had just canceled and he was so kind and made me and my friends feel safe and welcomed. He deserves a raise or something like he was great. The building is under construction and the room was a little toasty but it’s good if you’re just staying the night so no complaints. Thank you!!
Jun 15, 2025 · Isabella irishMy husband booked this hotel due to close proximity to the airport, having a shuttle and offering an alternative to long term parking at the airport. We have stayed at La Quintas before but this was a shock. He told me the pool was under renovation but its actually the WHOLE hotel. I did go back and look at Expedia and it does say the hotel is under renovation so they do warn you I guess. We stayed on 2nd floor and the elevator walls seemed to be covered in some kind of blanket. Then the whole opposite side of the 2nd floor was gutted for construction and the other half I guess were working guest rooms. Our room itself was OK but the AC did not work and I tossed and turned ALL night. I cannot speak to other reviews about construction noise because we checked in around 7PM and left at 4AM- we stayed really only to sleep and go to the airport. The shuttle when we left and came back from vacation was efficient and the drivers were friendly. Our car was not bothered in the parking lot while we left it parked there during our week long vacation. Photos posted are 2nd floor looking directly out the door of my room.
Jun 07, 2025 · Hillary HarringtonSafety hazard! Do not stay! No fire alarms in rooms, extreme construction noise very early. Negative experience. I have stayed in hotels under construction before with no issues. What I expected when I saw construction notices was construction on one side, guests on the other. NO! Everything is mixed. Construction begins at 7 am, right above your room and right outside your window! Very noisy with no privacy! Heavy construction dust in the air in the hallway. Respirators on construction workers, but none for you and none for housekeeping who has prolonged exposure to the substances. Fire alarm had been removed from my room. Construction had not begun on my room yet. I don't know why it was removed. See photo. I discussed with the front desk to try to find a solutions to issues. I didn't even get an apology. I got a bad attitude. I understand this is tiring for the desk, but it isn't what I expected. I'm usually very lucky. I thought I would have a good experience to share. Luck wasn't with me on this one.
Apr 14, 2025 · AnJaneen “Adventure Collector” SimensonShould not be open during renovation. The AC is barely working - hallways were well above 80 degrees at 8pm, and one of the "cooler" rooms we were offered was maybe in the upper 70s. The listing we booked barely notes the construction at the very end of 3 page sof fine print that you have to click into.
