This place is quaint and adorable. It's an old town, so the rooms are a bit dated but add to the character of it all. My room is located directly along the Chattahoochee River. Breathtaking views and wildlife here is quite entertaining at times. I see lots of people fishing along the river, and it's very serene here. This is my first time here, but I would definitely come back again. There's a heated indoor pool which I have enjoyed. There's also an outdoor pool(season permitting), as well as a large size hot tub. The staff provides lots of extras in your room so you can truly have a nice experience. The fridge has an ice maker which is a first for me. The kitchen is fully stocked right down to pot holders, garbage bags, dish towels, dish detergent and even pods for the dishwasher. I have no complaints. It's a very beautiful and mostly peaceful place. I highly recommend coming to enjoy this experience for yourself.

May 18, 2025 · Dorene KaranjaA journey back in time. Revisit the 80's! Totally retro. Small screen tvs, corded telephones, white walls with stained trim and interior doors. Nothing about this place is modern. The beds are as comfortable as sleeping on the floor or up in a tree hanging off a tree limb. They are small singles and short queens. I'm 6'3 and my feet hang off the end of all the beds. However, if you are on the river, the views are stunning on the back deck. So its not all bad. But if you were born in the 90s or 2000 era, you can see what it felt like to live in the 80s. I kid you not! I always feel like a kid again in this place. If you put away your phone and laptop. Just use what is in the rooms. You will see what it was like to live in the 80s. It's clean though. Just rickety and needing a little reinforcement on the floors. A ton of cracking going on. This was upscale living in the 80s. The ceiling fan in the master was top notch back then. I really love that ceiling fan. (Not being funny) those were always in the rich peoples houses in the 80s. Do I recommend this place? Absolutely! But not for more than a night. You will leave crippled from the beds. They are terrible. Even one night on the beds will stiffen you up pretty good. Not to mention the sheets are more in line with sandpaper than linen. If you were a kid in the 80s, you owe it to yourself to go back in time and see how far we have come! 5 stars on the retro vibe!
Mar 03, 2025 · Jay CochranVery nice, clean, and well equipped. The pool was warm, and the hot tub was hot. Very relaxing and enjoyable trip.
Mar 24, 2025 · Kathy CartwrightThis is a great resort. Only thing I didn’t like was the fireplaces are wood burning and not gas. Very close to town .
Dec 15, 2024 · Cathy SkinnerThis is one of the best places to stay especially for big group of friends and family. Each condo has plenty of space for visitors or just your family It's right at the end of the tubing at the top of the river.
