We have stayed here 2 years in a row when we visited the Chicago area, each time about 10 days. We chose it because there is a full fridge in every room, a stove top, microwave, and dishwasher, so we can cook some meals. They provide 2 plates, cups, 2 of each flatware, and also minimal pots, pans, and utensils. There are some other appliances available at the desk. There was only one chair for sitting to eat, so we picked up a folding chair at Walmart. The bed was comfortable. The rooms are basic and clean, but the main hall rug could use replacing as it looks a little stained and scruffy. If they did that, it would improve the look of the whole place. Their WiFi up on the 3rd floor where we were didn’t work well so this was a negative for me. Apparently it was good in the lobby and first floor. Twice we had a fire alarm go off where we all had to exit the building, one at 3 am. Someone said they smelled pot on our floor and wondered if someone had been smoking it. The alarm in our room went off when we were frying bacon and the front desk told us not to open the door to the hall. This way the alarm did not go off in the whole building. Overall, we don’t think it’s a first rate hotel, but was adequate for our purposes.

Jul 24, 2025 · Elly AustinWe stayed there this last weekend for a event. It was suggested by those who have stayed there prior for similar event. I would never suggest this place to anyone. Strong foul odor in hallway and room. We had to buy Lysol to reduce smell. We bought wipes to try and clean down nonporous surfaces. Furniture is gross, stained, sticky, stinks. AC looks as mold is growing inside. Dirty walls Microwave filter was so greased over it couldn't be removed to rinse. Water pressure on shower was low and the first two nights didn't get hot. The front desk barely had anyone working it, had one lady to clean the rooms.
Jul 06, 2025 · amber adamsHotel room was disgusting. There was a blood looking stain on the comforter, bugs in the bath tub, the counter did not even look like it was wiped down, walls were filthy. Customer satisfaction is clearly not their priority as a staff member led us to believe that we were being refunded for our stay, but after we had left, all of a sudden the refund couldn’t be processed and the manager was unwilling to give us a refund or offer any type of solution. Take your money elsewhere! Will never be booking with choice hotels again.
Jun 07, 2025 · Audrey SchiroRooms looked clean, but not really. There were animal hair everywhere and human hair. Entrance and kitchen area is vinyl floor so its obvious if it was dirty but beyond that is all dark carpeted area and i dont even think they vacuum this place properly. Bathroom had short and long hairs in the tub and it was half clogged. This place was better looking motel 6 but not much better.
