Get directionsJuly 2019 - It's under renovation and ownership change so your experience will be different. We didn't try the pool or the breakfast so I can't comment on those, just spent the night. Check-in was near midnight and the polite gentleman took us in when others were too full. Aromatic walk down the hallway to the room was a mix of mildew and possibly weed. Room was pretty clean but dated. First time I've ever experienced a single use bar of soap. At least it came with a complimentary pack of q-tips which really made my morning. Good luck crew and new ownership. Sincerely hope you all have a successful future.

Restaurant had good food and great service had dinner 1 night ,breakfast was good everything fresh! Pool was clean . Room was a nice walk from pool and breakfast lounge, but exercise is ok. Room was clean and bed comfy!!
Jul 03, 2019 · Daniel KellyRooms are nice. Breakfast was a disaster. They ran out of food before everyone came for breakfast. And they have a table Nazi. He was not letting people sat where they wanted. So I hear Best Western has bought them. I think more improvements will follow
May 26, 2019 · Jody BlantonSlightly disappointed. The hotel is now known as Monroeville Plaza hotel. It was the old Holiday Inn. I found them from Orbitz for a good price so I decided to check it out while visiting family in the area. They seem to be doing renovations and it is an ok place overall. The checkin went smooth. We were told about the bar, pool and exercise room. The rooms were clean and good overall. They had a TV, Microwave, coffee maker and fridge. There was no safe but that was the overall downside for the room. I stayed for two nights and I never got my room cleaned the first night. I sat a pizza box outside my door so maybe this was a sign not to clean my room or give me towels, make my bed or even leave fresh cups for coffee. Maybe it was housekeepings off day. Not sure but I thought this was odd. I asked for towels and coffee cups in the afternoon and they never showed up. I also saw toilet paper and towels hanging from outside doors which makes me think it was not only me. I used the exercise room and the equipments built in TVs did not work. Overall it was good for the price and things will probably be better in time. The staff were slightly attentive. I was also told that the place was going to become a Best Western. Overall the place was also quiet and close to the turnpike and freeways. The beds were also comfortable. I would give it a second try in the future once things have settled but there is room for customer service improvement.
May 29, 2019 · Darrell TSo disappointed! I scheduled our reservation a week in advance.after driving all the way there, I arrive at the check-in desk and see a "be back in 2 minutes sign". When the check-in woman arrived back at the desk she told me our special request room was unavailable. When I asked why the room was available? she shrugged her shoulders and said "I only work here one day a week I don't know". I also asked why they didn't contact my phone? "We caught a little bit ago and nobody answered?...... My phone never rang. And if she did call they didn't even leave a voicemail.... Very unprofessional, ruined my weekend. I would never stay there again
