Music Road Resort was a great place to stay for our family of 4 with college age kiddos. The Resort itself was very nice and CLEAN, pools were spacious and there are 2 plus a lazy river, but the real shining star was the staff! They greeted you every time you came in, everyone there was extremely helpful and pleasant. Christine at the front desk was amazing and called people by name! She was extremely warm and smiling and just exceptionally helpful to everyone there! Really a super star with her customer service. I will caution you to book through them and NOT Hotels.com or Expedia as we did have an issue with that but it was resolved (Christine was amazing). The breakfast was good with all you would expect in the Smokies. I give 4 stars to the room because our room was your regular hotel room with vinyl floor. However, it was very spacious, the bathroom was very nice, and we did upgrade for the balcony with the river view that was well worth the money! UPGRADE to river view or you run the risk of looking at a cemetery, if not over the pool. All in all my kids enjoyed the resort and the arcade, my husband would have liked to been able to get down to the river for fishing (there is a slight bluff that is just too steep) but still really enjoyed staying here. This is a very nice resort and very family friendly place to stay that I would definitely recommend for families of ANY age!

May 31, 2025 · April TravisStayed at the HOTEL resort breakfast included which was always a plus gotta get there earlier to beat rush line lol . Pool was nice my kid enjoyed it I enjoyed the warmth of the lazy pool river they had . I give 4 stars for room bc the bathroom were roomie and big and even with us 3 the big 2 sink bathroom was great the rooms were clean I check bare mattresses bathroom walls curtains etc can never be to careful HOWEVER the first 2 nights I should not have seen as many little critters as I did which 😖 the 2nd thing we DID NOT like was we couldn’t sit on our balcony at night due to the amount of BUGS the light was attracting which sucked mean while the other side of the hotel balcony lights were just about ALL off at night . Service was good with bring extra supplies when needed . Overall family friendly good spot in Pigeon Forge. Just take care of the buggy situation lol I’m sure not every room was that way .
Jun 01, 2025 · D BWe stayed 04/05-04/07. We had a room on the 7th floor with a fireplace and a balcony. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, but didn’t change at all. I loved sitting on the balcony with a beautiful view of the creek and mountains. The pool area outside was a bit chilly but clean. Would definitely stay again in the future!
May 08, 2025 · Stephanie EvansI loved the resort upon our arrival. The place was beautiful especially the lobby. It was my birthday weekend. Our room was very nice a little dated but nice. The first night I woke up every hour, my bed had springs the were poking me and making noise every time I move. Around 5:00 am I decided to just stay up I was not able to rest. When I stood up to walk my back hurt so bad I had to take meds to ease the pain. That morning my husband and I went to the front desk and explained my night and my back pain. They said they would switch the mattresses out. When we returned that evening. I noticed the bed looked a little higher. I pulled the covers back. They did not change the mattress out they put an Egg Crate Memory Foam Topper on top of the mattress. The next morning my husband and I woke up with back pain again and could barely walk. That was 2 nights of no rest and tossing and turning all night. Again, we went back downstairs talked to the manager and she said they put the memory foam on top we said it did not help. She immediately switched our rooms and gave us an upgrade to the Honeymoon Suite it was very nice and spacious. I appreciated the manager upgrading our room and we did sleep better. However I did notice the same kind of mattress/box spring in the new room but in better condition. This resort needs to upgrade to the new mattress where a box spring is not needed like other hotels. I cannot remember the last time I stayed at a hotel that still uses a mattress and box spring. I will not stay at this resort again. I cannot take a chance of not being able to receive a good nights rest.
Apr 27, 2025 · Forlanda HarveyThe hotel is very clean, and both pools are kept clean even though it's open 24 hours a day. It's worth noting the great effort they make to maintain a pleasant, safe, and clean environment. Thank you. The location is good for enjoying the attractions. The included breakfast was good, although it didn't have much variety, but it was still enjoyable.
