Traveling through North Carolina, we found this place by just looking around on Google Maps. I am so glad we did. After booking, they called to verify the arrival time because the check-in desk closes at 5. While I thought this might be an issue because we were not going to get there until after 7 pm, they assured me it would not be and that there would still be someone on-site in case there were any issues. We arrived a little after 4 pm and the check-in was a wonderful experience. I always have a ton of questions and they were super nice and extremely helpful. We stayed on a Wednesday night and their bar area doesn't open for the week until Thursday. No problem, there is a place literally across the street that has all kinds of beverages and bar food. We had several drinks and headed back across the street. They had a game room where I won my wife a prize on a claw machine. They have a few arcade games, pool tables, and ping pong. We hung out in one of their sitting areas that have amazing views. The bed was super comfortable and it had 5 or 6 pillows, so no need to bring ours in from the truck. Woke up to amazing views of the mountains, sat on rocking chairs on the porch, and ate fresh sausage and biscuits. The only thing that could have made the stay better is if the pool was open. Although we would have frozen! Just a little too early in the year for that. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in North Carolina!

Absolutely beautiful property! Wendy at the front desk was sweet and amazing! We checked in after dark and didn’t get to see outdoors areas so we were very happy to have our breakfast on the outside porch with a beautiful view of the Smokies. The room was CLEAN! The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. I found this place by chance but we will absolutely plan another trip here!

Charming and beautifully renovated inn with truly wonderful staff! My partner and I were tent camping in the region when smoke from a wildfire in another area blew in and settled in the valley where we were camping, making it very unpleasant to sleep outside. We called the Nantahala Village Resort at 10pm to see if they had any rooms available, and though they were totally booked, the kind manager, Wendy, gave us a generous deal on a room she had taken off the market because the AC unit needed repairs. It is early spring and a cool, comfortable temperature, so the broken AC was no problem at all for us. We were super grateful for her hospitality and responsiveness, and were delighted with the beautiful room and comfortable bed. She turned a stressful and disappointing evening into a very pleasant one, and we were so grateful. If you're in the area, we highly recommend a stay here.

Absolutely loved my stay here! Very roomy and homey. Only down fall we couldn’t get into the game room and no one was there to help the whole weekend. Parking could also be a bit better.
