Stayed there for 5 days. First the good. The house is very spacious and well laid out. You have 6 bedrooms with seperate bathrooms making it good for people there. The house has a nice gazebo area and a hot tub which were nice. The location is close to attractions and we chose to do Horseback riding, Hiking Laurel Falls and Whiteater rafting. All three were nice. Now for some critiques. Number one complaint is the AC system in the main area. While the bedrooms have their idependent walled AC's the unit depends on central air for the rest which was very poor. Temperatures got into the 80's inside making it uncomfortable to cook, eat and enjoy watching tv. The other issue per say is how steep the driveway is. I didnt have an issue with it but if conditions are snowing and icy, this is a place to avoid. Last, the bedrooms do not have any kind of storage for clothes except a closet. Here are my suggestions to Eden Crest who operates this. 1) Invest in a good central AC system 2) Invest in some inexpensive drawer units for the bedrooms, people do not like living off their suitcases 3) Invest in TV's for the bedrooms, two tvs in a house so large is not enough. 4) Invest in some decent cookware (we had one pan that the nonstick coating was missing, no large pot for pasta etc. - Again small investment 5) The place feels a bit cold (none of the walls have decor, pictures , nothing. It would be a bit more homey if you decorated it a bit. Hope this helps many of you.

One In A Million Introduce

Within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category, One In A Million presents itself as a substantial cabin rental opportunity in Sevierville, Tennessee, uniquely suited for very large groups, multiple families, or gatherings that require extensive space and privacy. Located at 3643 Wilderness Mountain Road, Sevierville, TN 37862, USA, this property stands out due to its generous size and numerous bedrooms, aiming to provide a comfortable and memorable stay in the heart of the Smoky Mountains.

The environment surrounding One In A Million is characteristic of a mountain retreat, offering a sense of seclusion and natural beauty. The cabin is situated on Wilderness Mountain Road, implying a setting that provides guests with stunning views of the surrounding landscape, a feature often highly sought after in the Smoky Mountains. Guest reviews confirm that the views from this cabin are "spectacular," offering picturesque vistas that enhance the overall vacation experience. Being in a mountainous area, guests should be prepared for potentially steep driveways and winding roads leading to the property, which is a common aspect of cabins designed to capture elevated views. While the location offers a sense of being away from it all, it is also noted as being "close to attractions" in Townsend, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg, offering a good balance between peaceful solitude and convenient access to entertainment and activities.

One In A Million is designed to accommodate a significant number of guests, making its services and features geared towards large group comfort. The cabin boasts six bedrooms, each with its own separate bathroom, a highly desirable feature that provides unparalleled privacy and convenience for multiple couples or families traveling together. The layout is described as "very spacious and well laid out." Each bedroom typically includes a king-size bed and often individual wall-mounted air conditioning units, offering personalized temperature control. The living areas are expansive, providing ample room for gathering and relaxation. A fully equipped kitchen is a standard amenity, complete with appliances for meal preparation. However, one detailed review pointed out a need for improvement in the kitchenware, specifically mentioning a worn nonstick pan and the absence of a large pot for cooking pasta. This suggests that while a kitchen is provided, guests might consider bringing specific cooking tools if they plan extensive meal preparation for a large group. Laundry facilities with a washer and dryer are also available, adding practical convenience for longer stays.

For leisure and entertainment, One In A Million offers several features. The cabin includes a hot tub, often situated in an area that allows guests to relax while enjoying the mountain views, as well as a nice gazebo area for outdoor enjoyment. A game area with a pool table is typically available, though one review noted that the placement of the pool table in the loft rather than a dedicated basement space might limit comfortable play. The cabin is equipped with Wi-Fi, allowing guests to stay connected. However, feedback also indicated a desire for more televisions in the bedrooms, as only two TVs for such a large house were considered insufficient by one guest. Furthermore, the aesthetic of the cabin was described as "a bit cold" due to a lack of wall decor or pictures, suggesting that while functional, the interior might benefit from more personal touches to enhance a "homey" feel. Despite these critiques, the intention is to provide a comfortable and entertaining environment for large groups.

The management of One In A Million is associated with Eden Crest, a property management company that typically handles check-in procedures, maintenance requests, and guest communication for their vacation rentals. While Eden Crest aims to provide quality service, the detailed negative review highlights significant issues that prospective guests should be aware of. This guest experienced a heater malfunction during cold weather, leading to discomfort and the necessity of finding alternative accommodation. The core complaint revolved around a lack of emergency responsiveness from the owners, a refusal to refund the disrupted night, and a perceived dismissive attitude in communication. Additionally, the review mentioned persistent issues with flying bugs, a water outage (leading to brown water after restoration, attributed to an unreplaced water filter), broken refrigerator drawers, a malfunctioning microwave, and outdated washer and dryer. These serious concerns regarding maintenance, hygiene, and emergency customer service warrant careful consideration by potential renters. While the location and basic structure of the cabin may be appealing, the operational aspects as described by this guest are critical.

Regarding promotional information, similar to other cabin rentals in the Smoky Mountains managed by companies like Eden Crest, One In A Million might offer various discounts or packages depending on the season, length of stay, or specific promotions. These could include seasonal discounts, extended stay deals, or possibly inclusion in any free attraction ticket programs that property management companies sometimes offer. Guests are encouraged to check with the booking platform or Eden Crest directly for any current promotions. However, given the significant issues raised in the detailed negative review, prospective guests should also prioritize understanding the property's maintenance history, emergency protocols, and the responsiveness of the management team. While the cabin has the potential to be "perfect size for a large group" and offers "breathtaking views" and a "perfect location," as acknowledged in both reviews, the concerns about the operational aspects and customer service, as detailed in the negative feedback, are paramount considerations for a satisfying stay within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category.

House is the perfect size for a large group however our stay wasn’t good. The home is infested with flying bugs which made it very hard to sleep because the bugs had no problem flying on you. The water went out because the power to the pumps needed to be reset but no one took that as an emergency. We had to cook and bathe with bottle water which caused us to have to spend unnecessary money. Once the water was restored we was told to give it a couple of hours for the 5000 gallon tanks to fill up. We waited but still no water. Soooo we had to make another service call. The water finally started to come out 16 hrs later but it was brown so that was more money we had to spend on water. The customer service people were very rude. No one apologized to us. The water filter was never replaced which caused the brown water. We asked to be moved to another property but there wasn’t one available being it was the holiday. We have yet to receive a response from the owner after requesting some type of reimbursement for having to buy water or a reduced rate for all of the trouble. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT stay at this house. Refrigerator has broken drawers and missing shelves, microwave needs to be fixed and the washer and dryer are out dated.
