I happened in a great discount, and since I was dining at the Augusta Downtown I decided to try a stay - and I'm so glad I did. The staff is awesome - friendly and professional. Very informative and made I feel welcome. My room was fantastic. The property has been recently updated, from hardwood floors to tile in the kitchen, to vary current tile and fixtures in the bathroom.

Sep 03, 2019 · Lili JackiBeware: This hotel offers exceptionally cheap rooms, but there's a reason. The hotel has a roach problem. The hotel is very run down. Long term tenants are loud and knock on random doors looking for people at very late hours at night. Microwave is old and rusted as seen in photo, paint on the walls is dirty and some fixtures do not work. While the staff appear to be polite, the hotel itself just needs a lot of work. I've stayed in some pretty bad hotels in my time, this one is definitely top 3 for being the worst. I tried to get my hotel changed through hotwire and unfortunately would take 5-7 days to get money back. That's my fault for not properly reading the reviews. Spend the extra 20-30 a night, get a better hotel.
Oct 31, 2019 · KevinI've stayed here a couple times. The rooms are lovely. The location is wonderful. It's not stuffy, but it's nice. Service is quick. I got a city view room, but I can't say the view is worth the extra money. Although I didn't need to do this, the mini-bar fridges are configured so that you can move things around or put your own things in them without incurring charges.
Sep 10, 2019 · Shane MicalThis hotel excels at customer service. We were greeted by staff on arrival who kindly talked us through all the local knowledge and gave his recommendations for local restaurants. All were exceptional. The hotel provided breakfast each morning which was great to get the day started and offered afternoon tea. Our visit in August was hot and we made good use of the terrace and place that has a great view of the Central. We loved our stay in Augusta and this hotel was a big part of it.
Aug 28, 2019 · Silicon TurkThe nice photos and reviews for this hotel are misleading. Hotel is in a dark, industrial area. Huge pile of junk in front of one of the buildings. People were loitering in the parking lot and second-floor balcony, drinking and smoking. My "non-smoking" room reeked of smoke and had cigarette burns in the comforter. And wifi network was not available. It is suspicious that most of the good reviews on here were entered at the same time and don't accurately describe the actual hotel property. I knew booking this hotel online was a mistake when I arrived to check in and there was a sign that said to look at your room before checking in because they would not refund your money after you check in. Thankfully, after checking in and having such a disappointing experience, I quickly asked for a refund, which the nice hostess processed for me. Finally, it was very weird that I received an email from the hotel telling me in order to complete my refund I needed to go to their website and enter in my credit card information. I disregarded that and fortunately my refund was processed anyways. I will never stay at an OYO Hotel after this experience.
