Enjoyed a family ski weekend (2 adults, 2 kids) at Purity Spring/King Pine. Stayed in ski-in-ski-out family room in the King Pine Lodge building. Our room was a perfect location for us, and being able to come back in for snack and lunch breaks was a amazing. We will definitely return!! Slight hiccup upon arrival Friday night -- when we obtained our keycards and entered our room, it had not been cleaned since previous guests (unmade beds, trash in trash cans, etc). As it was 8:15, we had to call the "after hours" helpline. We were promptly assisted by a courteous and professional gentleman who brought us down the road to a different lodging location for the night. At 9am on Saturday morning, we were able to enter our originally scheduled room in the KP lodge. Everyone was courteous and helpful, but it made for a late night Friday and a difficult Saturday early morning doing an extra pack/unpack (especially with kiddos who aren't always the most easy going). Due to the logistics, we ended up with a more stressful Saturday morning and a later ski start than ideal, but all staff members were wonderful and accommodating. Once we were settled in our planned room, we had a great ski Saturday -- Bunny Hill for learning and then a great time over all trails. Not crowded and no waiting in lift lines. We loved that we could ski till 6pm.... So fun! We had a nice dinner at Traditions, where the service and food were excellent. Our room had sleeping quarters for 6, but there were 4 of us, so we had adequate space for our snow gear and relaxing. Room was adequate -- nothing special, but no complaints. View of the snow grooming at night was so fun, and we loved waking up to the ski slopes right out our window. Got a first thing start on Sunday and had a great ski day before heading home. All in all, a wonderful, top notch weekend at a spot we will definitely return to... And we'll bring family and friends. We had some initial trouble with the lodging/logistics, but all staff handled well.

We stayed at a family ski in ski out room for two nights in December. The room is in the King Pine building where the ticket office, rentals, cafe and tavern are. Location is very convenient, just a short walk from the room to the lifts. We got to our room after check in time (3pm). Room was ok and on the dated side. Mostly clean room but we found sticky stains on the tv remote, Cheetos on the floor in the corner and towels with stains. Toilet didn’t flush properly and took a long time to refill the tank. The room was quite noisy as we could hear other guests walking around in the boots and we could hear the door the parking lot every time someone opened it. Window was also broken but not an issue since we didn’t need to open it. We enjoyed our time skiing and hope these little details can be fixed.

We loved our stay here! Really great deal in December. So nice to have the slopes, a restaurant, and your stay so close together.

Short anniversary get away. Pretty location, 30 min from Conway. Food was excellent @ the restaurant (Traditions) on site. Room wasn't anything special....(we were located in the King Pine building which is a short drive down the road from the main building & near the ski slopes. (If I was a skier & it was winter it would have been great but think we were there because those are the pet friendly rooms). Liked the walking trails, the sandy beach and lake w/ canoes & kayaks available to use. There is an indoor pool & gift shopin the main building.
