I had been on the road for a week hiking and camping. I wanted a clean quiet place to lay my head for a comfortable nights sleep. Pros: comfortable bed/pillows, crisp clean sheets, soft towels, shampoo/conditioner, lotion and bar soap provided, mini fridge, microwave, hot breakfast available (eggs, sausages, biscuits, gravy) as well as dry/cold options like bagels, cereal and yogurt, etc. the gal at the front desk was very nice and she was attentive to the breakfast and refilled the eggs promptly. The area is relatively quiet since that side of town isn't as busy. They allowed me to have my dog in my room for $15 fee, I appreciated they allowed me to do so. They have a small indoor pool, but I didn't use it. Cons: immediately walking into the lobby, it had an old motel smell (you know, that old stale smoke smell and maybe a bit of mildew)...my room unfortunately was worse. Very strong smell... I noticed the carpet felt damp and the smell seemed to be originating from the air conditioner (I'm guessing mold from the compressor dripping). Even with the bathroom fan on (which is very loud), the smell persisted. My throat became scratchy almost immediately. The room door did not shut properly and had to be forcibly pushed shut which was VERY loud. I noticed other rooms seemed to have the same problem as doors were not fully closed/latched. The bathrooms definitely showed age and lack of proper regular deep cleaning/maintenance. The fixtures were decayed and full of scale buildup and did not drain well, especially the sink. The toilet barely flushed, had to flush it multiple times and the toilet had dark stains (I'm guessing scale build up). The tub had that dark layer of grossness...likely from years of scale build up. The edges of the bathroom floor were dirty and showed signs of mold. When I arrived, the manager (?) was sitting in the lobby on his cell phone, later I saw him outside on his phone. Maybe instead of sitting around, he could be fixing up vacant rooms? I did see him doing housekeeping duties at check out time. He was polite and did say hi to me.one last minor thing, the wifi is stupidly slow and didn't work consistently. I ended up just shutting off my wifi and used my spotty cell service instead. That all said, I could have dealt with the room being subpar if it didn't have the smell... Mold is a huge health concern and should be addressed.

Jul 07, 2025 · Katie BabcockIt was clean and comfortable. They had a good variety of breakfast choices hot and cold.
Jul 23, 2025 · Robin TaylorBeds are comfortable, and the rooms are clean. The pool is good and hot tub it nice it's a bit poorly lit in the pool room though..
Jun 21, 2025 · Jason MervynMy mom booked a room for my brother, his girlfriend, and dogs. They got there and brought everything up stairs, including the dogs. Later that night, they were then told they needed to be downstairs on the first floor because they had dogs. When they got there, they realized the hot tub and pool was closed and it didn’t open the whole time they were there, and that’s the whole reason we picked that hotel. We asked for a refund or discount and they wouldn’t give us one. Then when my brother got home he got charged extra for having two dogs there. When one dog stayed with me the entire time, and it never said anything on their website about charging extra for dogs. It just says pet friendly. I tried to explain our concerns and called the hotel. The lady on the phone screamed at me the entire time I was on the phone with her. I asked for a manager and she said there was none. She was very rude. I asked for her name, but she wouldn’t give me it. I would not recommend this hotel at all. Staff are VERY rude, the hot tub and pool was closed the entire time, and they charged extra for my brother having two dogs there, when he only had one, and the other one stayed with me. It also said nothing about getting charged extra for dogs, so there’s no reason he should have been charged.
