I worked Banquets for about a decade at various hotels mostly at the Hilton. When my wife and I were looking for a venue I had extremely high expectations. We Met with the Banquet Manager Fahad and he was extremely detailed and helpful from start to finish. Chef Joseph prepared food that was on the level of a top restaurant and the GM Jessica oversaw that every concern was taken care of. We had more than a dozen guests tell us it was "the best wedding (I've) ever been to". Not just the best for the money but simply the best! The rooms were clean and nice.

Jul 15, 2025 · Robert FischerDespite being skeptical about this place after reading the mixed reviews, I had to book this place just for its ideal location. The entrance is a bit old and gloomy. The receptionist(s) are fine. The first floor lobby smells of smoke despite the no smoking policy. Luckily, I was given a king room on the third floor which was decent. The bed was nice and clean, however the washroom was outdated and I was greeted by a spider when I first used it. The rooms seemed to have undergone partial renovation and still need improvements. There is no water provided in the room. The only option is a water fountain in the lobby which again, doesn’t do a great job of having cold water. The hallway can be noisy as there are some loud guests across the hall. Often times its just random lady screaming at their kids. The breakfast is the most basic one ever. Eggs, Potatoes and sausages along with the bread and cereal selection. The coffee and juice were okay-ish. I did not have the breakfast for more than 2 times in my 4-day stay. The pancake machine was a good addition tho. Would I stay here again? Probably not. It’s just that the location is very convenient for someone staying in Lombard/Glendale Heights.
Jun 28, 2025 · Atif MehmoodUnfortunately, they need to renovate the rooms and bathrooms. The sink was a bit clogged, and the toilet was not flushing properly. The door lock latch was not installed properly. The breakfast was reasonable. The pool area was ok but needs a paint job on the floor around the pool. The location of the motel is excellent for our situation. The service guy up front desk was very nice and helpful and understood our concerns and told us the renovations are on going hopefully by next year, this time in spring 2026, it will be much better.
Apr 27, 2025 · sair gilaniHorrible hotel. The one thing I will say is the staff itself was friendly, or at least the person at the front desk. He let me check in early, and remembered my name when I came. He was nice. But the bad experience came from the hotel building. One of the elevators has gunk on the roof, and they overall aren’t clean (but yes, they are 2, and they are decently fast). Then when you enter any hallway they are all murky and feel like a narrow pathway from a horror movie. The carpet on the 2nd floor hallway isn’t even all connected. Then when you enter the room, it smells like chlorine. The sink is outside the bathroom, so using it makes the hardwood slippery and dangerous, plus it’s inconvenient. Then the sink doesn’t have a drain plug. And if your nose happens to be on top of the drain (like even 1-2ft above), you’ll smell something really putrid and nasty, possibly the smell of the sewer. Then the bathroom made me feel like I was in a 3rd world country. The regular light is very weak, and the strong light is one of those heat lights. Everything looks outdated in the bathroom. Plus they only give you small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. And they only give you an extra mini soap bar. Plus at least some of the towels scratch your skin. Then, the bedsheets were all wrinkled. The iron board was ripped. Corners weren’t clean. Just all in all, not a great experience. If you are looking to stay in this area, go to comfort inn Lombard. If not there, then go to Fairfield (not the best, but better than Ramada). I’ve also had bad experiences with Wyndham in general (I also tried staying a night in Baymont, and it was also bad)
Aug 02, 2025 · Hammad AhmedThe rooms need a complete redo, drapes falling off the rods, grout needs to be done, it needs new paint and decoration. The rugs going down the stairs never got vacuumed in two days, the electric went out for one night, the hallway was pitch black, very scary and dangerous, there should have been back up lights, the toilet was stopped up during the blackout, bof course because of that there was no breakfast. The paint on the outside needed paint and repair. On the plus side, the desk clerk was nice as were the housekeepers that I saw when I was leaving. The parking lot also needed upkeep. The doors leading in and out were not secure, anyone could have come in or out, doors were unlocked. Yeah. Two stars because the room had a bed that wasn't broken. I guess I expected more from a Ramada Inn.
