If you're looking for a room/place with : - no wifi - no furniture except the bed - no working elevator - no working shower head - no breakfast - no coffee machine Then this place is the perfect spot Location is great and parking is free. At least you will be sheltered from the cold and the rain at a reasonable price. Excellent place to stay if you want to get a taste of how it feels to be in jail. If you're visiting in summer, consider sleeping outside. Enjoy your stay!

Red Carpet Inn, located at 980 Wyckoff Ave in Brooklyn, NY, is a budget-friendly accommodation option for travelers seeking affordable lodging. Known for its low rates, the inn offers a no-frills experience that caters primarily to those looking for temporary shelter without the need for luxury services. The property’s prime location provides easy access to various attractions and amenities, making it an attractive choice for cost-conscious visitors.

While Red Carpet Inn is ideal for those willing to compromise on comfort for affordability, guests should be aware of its limited services and facilities. The inn does not provide Wi-Fi, furniture beyond a bed, working elevator, functional showerheads, breakfast options, or coffee machines. Guests are advised to bring their own essentials if they prefer such conveniences.

One of the notable aspects of Red Carpet Inn is its free parking, which is particularly useful for guests traveling by car. The location is considered advantageous for those looking to explore nearby areas, though some visitors have noted that the property itself may not meet expectations for cleanliness and comfort. One guest humorously suggested that it offers a glimpse into what staying in jail might feel like, highlighting the stark contrast between budget and luxury accommodations.

Customer feedback reveals mixed experiences, with many guests emphasizing the need to be prepared for basic conditions. Some reviews have pointed out issues such as clogged toilets, insufficient bathroom supplies, and poor overall maintenance. For instance, one guest described finding a toilet that wouldn’t flush and walls covered in fingerprints, indicating minimal cleaning efforts. These accounts suggest that while Red Carpet Inn is an affordable option, it may not cater to those expecting even basic comforts or cleanliness.

Despite its drawbacks, the inn’s central location and free parking make it a potential choice for travelers with limited budgets. Guests should approach their stay with realistic expectations and be prepared to bring additional amenities for a more comfortable experience. Red Carpet Inn is best suited for those who prioritize cost over convenience and are willing to compromise on room quality and services.

Toilet clogged with straight up poop on arrival won’t flush. Baseboard covered (wall) covered in disgusting finger prints. Only bar hand soap no shampoo or shower stuff. Place is beyond lived in. Little evidence of cleaning except for unopened soap. Even the toilet paper rolls were halfway through - makes sense given the toilet situation.

I reserved through booking.com. The place had extra security. The man who runs the hotel only wants cash for the rooms extremely rude. Did not have an ATM in the hotel and was asking questions about my stay. Another guest, who told me he stayed at the hotel before last week. Said this is a new policy. That rooms are cash. Only even if you already pay for the room with your card through red carpet inn or third-party.

Location: obviously great Price: Ridiculously $$ (140$ for a room that was just awful, bed on the floor on another bed.) Room: basic to the Tee! They are using the hotel for housing as well (which I don’t mind) but shelters don’t ever give much so yeah the room had a very small TV and there’s NO WIFI. BUT the people who work there are great! Kind and they have security which mad it feel very nice. They let us look at the room first before we paid which was very nice.

Very disappointed with this place. I got charged the price for 2 rooms but all I got was 1 room with 1 Queen size bed and 2 mattresses on the floor looking like a bed. No internet, no place to eat. The windows wouldn’t open and close. Bad lighting in the room. Everything looks like it’s falling apart. The elevator looked unsafe. The shower didn’t work correctly and when you asked something from the concierge they say yes but then nothing happens. Probably language understanding issues. Anyways, I don’t recommend this place.
