We had been travelling in the middle of the night. It was about 12:30 am. According to several apps, this red roof inn was fully booked. It was poring down rain from a big storm. We decided to pull in anyway and found the phone number to the actual office. The office lady asked me "is that your truck that just pulled in?" I said YES! She said, "come on in, we have a room for you!" We were so grateful, and she was wonderful. On our way back from Florida, we stayed there again! Clean! Comfortable! Reasonably priced! Hot water!!

Mar 23, 2025 · Eedee SmithI do a lot of traveling with my dogs, and I always take the time to review the GOOD bargain hotels- this one was delightful! Friendly service even though I showed up pretty late at night, clean room, VERY comfy bed- the basics done well! Bookmarked as a good place to stop if I make this trip again.
Jun 01, 2025 · Katherine SchmalzWe generally stay at a Hilton or Marriott but we were traveling with our dog, which our “regular hotels” were charging an additional $50-75/night for. Red roof does not charge for the first pet, which led us to this place and it was located directly off the interstate. Check in was quick and easy. There are plenty of areas for the dog to do his business. The bathroom itself, towels and sheets were all clean which was my main concern. However, the bed pillows are awful, flat and hard. The bathtub, although cleaned, is very stained. There is mold growing on the bathroom ceiling. The heat/ac unit wasn’t blowing well so I opened the filter area and it was beyond caked with dirt, so I scrubbed it clean (yes, it’s washable). The furniture is clean but in bad shape, the curtains were literally falling apart and the lamp was broken. Everything has been painted, including the old plastic light covers. It appears they’re trying to update but sometimes a bandaid can’t fix a bad wound. Also, their website photos indicate there is a microwave and mini fridge in the room and there was not . As a matter of fact, our room did not look anything like the website. Overall, it WAS a great value and served the purpose but it’s highly unlikely we will return.
Mar 05, 2025 · Christine TimmelDirty, not safe. Transients stay there. Was followed by a resident while walking my dogs and he was screaming obscenities at me. Called front desk and they said "give me 10 minutes while I check someone in". Called the police. Scary Place. Also, as someone who travels with pets, the grass area is limited and COVERED with dog poop. Not their fault, but watch where you step. Samantha is awesome, the only true positive to this worn down motel. Used to stay here all the time as I traveled to and from Ga. They now only allow 1 dog at no extra fee. Check out Motel 6, 2 free pets. Stayed here for years, just don't feel safe anymore and it's really run down.
Mar 17, 2025 · Christie WaldenSam was very inviting, helpful and personable. She was eager to assist is with our needs and it was evident how she enjoyed her job!! This is the 2nd time in 2 weeks that we stayed at the red roof in and Sam is definitely an asset to the establishment, compared to the man we encountered earlier in the day when we tried to reserve a room prior to 3 pm as we were passing by and he was very unaccomadating and seemed like he didn't enjoy his job!!
