Rooms are big and clean, few minor maintenuitems like lights or running toilets needed to be fixed. The included breakfast was a great value. Full sized kitchen/fridge in the room came in handy. Beds were very comfortable. Location was great for my needs (right off the highway, not too far from the airport etc.). Front desk staff were average, kitchen staff and cleaning staff were friendly and courteous. Plenty of parking available.

May 10, 2025 · Brandon BergeronChecked in Friday, June 6, 2025. The front desk was very professional. Went to room 108 to unpack and prepare for Capital Jazz Fest. Everything on the surface appeared just fine. After a while, I went to the bathroom. I didn't pull back the shower curtain at first because the toilet seat color caught my eye. It looked grey. I turned on the light to discover to my horror, dead skin, dirt, and fecal matter all over the toilet seat. I pulled back the shower curtain and discovered a dirty tub with rust and grime. I had some bleach wipes thank God. So I began wiping down the toilet and other surfaces. There was some fecal matter on the back of the toilet seat, and some yellow residue on the kitchen area countertops. We went to the store and bought a scrub brush and Comet. I notified the front desk and they offered us another room. I decided since I had put my things away including the food, I didn't want to repack and unpack and clean another room. I don't understand how the maid could have missed the toilet seat being dirty. Worse yet, how the supervisor missed it too. The couch was made of vinyl so I was afraid to sit on it until I wiped it down. Of course, it was dirty too. There were spider webs on the floor and ceiling. I will never stay at a residence Inn again. This is run by Marriott and it would seem to me they would not still have elementary school toilets. If you have bad knees do not stay there. The bed, however, was very comfortable. The kitchen floor was scandalous. Just filthy. No managers work on weekends. When I checked out the manager gave us credit for one night. This entire scene was unacceptable. The room was $1,100 for 3 nights. Because of the Jazz Fest most hotels were booked. I will be contacting the corporate office because this should never have happened.
Jun 14, 2025 · Sharon MarshallI was definitely surprised at how nice the hotel still looked. I was a little nervous by some of the reviews. I had not been to this location in over 10 years. The room I was in had been renovated, as I believe the entire hotel did a few years back. Although an older location, it still looks great and feels comfortable.
May 27, 2025 · Latrina DavisUnfortunately, this particular Residence Inn has soured my entire switch from Hilton to Marriott. Our company spends an annual $250k to $300k on hotels and every few years we release a contract for hotels to bid and earn our business. In late 2023, Marriott took the contract away from Hilton and this location led the charge in getting our employees settled in comfortably with Bonvoy memberships and welcome packages. They started off GREAT with the little things (remembering a favorite liquor and making sure it was on hand when we arrived, remembering a favorite flavor of chips and making sure a few small bags were on the table when employees walked in, bottled water, etc.), but it was the big things that we’ve seen drop precipitously since switching hotels. We have corporate rates with Marriott and this location always has issues with rates - causing our staff to have to call Marriott and correct invoices. We make reservations months in advance and upon arrival the wrong room configurations are on the reservation; we prefer two bedroom suites and constantly have to call and verify that the reservations weren’t made for one bedroom or studio suites. Lastly, this location NEVER has enough rooms to host ALL of us when we arrive (they tend to overbook their rooms). On several occasions we’ve had to scramble and get multiple hotels to host us and our customers. It’s made us spend more time in non-Marriott hotels even though we’re supposed to rent exclusively from Marriott. It is super unfortunate, but I’m releasing our contract again this year (only two years into a five-year contract) and any bid from Marriott will not be considered. This hotel is great for the regular traveling guest who just needs to crash for a night or two, but they cannot handle corporate contracts with business travelers who want the comforts of home after being on the road for days on end. I cannot recommend this location.
Mar 11, 2025 · Eric JHorrible. The rooms are all facing the highway, the beds have been slept in by folks who weigh at least 600lbs and only on one side, the walls are stained, the carpets full of crumbs - even after cleaning, there are air conditioners that blast all night - which almost seems relaxing compared to the semi trucks hammering down in the passing lane, the “fruited”water is sugared down and may put you into a diabetic coma and it smells bad. On the positive side, the staff seem nice and there is ample parking.
