Our stay started a little rough with the front desk associate giving us a hard time that our credit card number didn't match the number that was given online but my husband used his virtual credit card for security reasons a d with that the number always changes on purpose. The front desk associate was not happy about it. The room was nice and roomy, I loved the air conditioning situation. The bed was fine, the only complaint I had was the pillows. They had two very flat pillows that were too flat to use just one, but to use both was just uncomfortable. The hotel was beautiful, but it us such a shame that there is so much space that they could offer breakfast, but they do not- they give "breakfast in a bag"- store bought muffins and boxed oatmeal, and orange juice in a bottle. Overall, it was nice , just wish they offered a full experience with an actual breakfast.

What's Good: Location The Charm and Feel Common Spaces Grab and Go packs Fully renovated bathroom Heating System What's Not: The crumbling room - Z See the pictures Not 3.5* from any angle or view Visibly old and rusty furniture Wobbly Chair Will be doing a detailed review on priceline where rooms are clearly marked as - Sleeps 4 But hotel - Ahm sorry B&B/AirBnB (do not ass-u-me this to be a hotel), claims they require additional fees totalling to be the cost of a hotel room for 2 children. Again for the same price you can stay 15 minutes away in a true 3.5 or 4 star hotel. My advice to the managment - use an interior decorator to fix the rooms. Make them as pretty as common areas and I will come back to re-review.

This inn was recommended to my 18 year old daughter her new husband (also 18) for their honeymoon. They made a reservation a month ago with no problems and were required at pay the almost $400 all up front. When they arrived at the inn last night the desk clerk refused to let them checkin stating that guests must be 21. They were told this was stated on the website. The clerk also refused to refund them any of their money. My daughter called me in tears not knowing what to do and having to go somewhere else for her honeymoon and now out $400. I checked the inns website. As soon as you open it (right at the top) it has a "Book Now" link. When you do so there is no stated policy about having to be 21 and it doesn't ask for ID or age before allowing anyone to reserve a room. However, I was eventually able to find this stated policy all the way at the bottom of their website (all the way beneath there contact info) where no one would even look for it unless they knew to look for this policy. It states "Guests must be 21 years of age or older to reserve a room." This however is clearly not the case since their system allows anyone to make the reservation without even knowing about this policy until they arrive to checkin only to be denied. The email confirmation my daughter recieved after booking the room doesn't even mention this policy.

The ladies at the front desk, Cheryl and Veda, were super sweet and helpful. I was given a brown bag with two days' worth of breakfast and snacks, since no restaurants were nearby and no meals were provided at or by the hotel. I took the least expensive room for $176.00. This was a 13-step walk downstairs to the basement, to a windowless room. The microwave and fridge did not work. To eat the oatmeal I'd been given for breakfast, I was forced to get hot water from the bathroom sink. I was told that rooms are cleaned only every three days; I had to ask for fresh towels and washcloths. Overall, the place was cozy and felt more like staying in a private home than a hotel. It was not within walking distance of any store or restaurant and is not handicapped-accessible. It wasn't a great value for the price.
