My stay at this hotel was delightful and I would stay there again. My reservation was for about 110 days. The staff was amazing and very hospitable. One of the maintenance guys even walked me from my car one night because I was afraid of a stray dog that was crossing the parking lot. Housekeeping came regularly on the schedule we agreed upon. Any issues that arose with my room or the hotel, Albert and his team made sure to handle it promptly. The lobby is kept clean and decorated to whatever holiday or occasion there currently is.

Mark the night counter person canceled my 4 day reservation and charged my card (as I found out the next morning) for the full four nights almost $1,000. The next day the shift manager made an attempt to fix what Mark had done. The money is still not refunded. The following night I called the front desk to ask for two extra blankets for my kids. Mark told me “we don’t have anymore blankets”. I asked; you have not one extra blanket in this hotel? He said “yea”. I have my family with me on this trip and it has been the worst experience I have ever had at a Marriott property. I literally went next door to a rival (Hilton) hotel at midnight, with whom I am a Diamond member to get the blankets. They happily gave them to me. I travel upwards of 250 days a year and bounce between Hilton and Marriott. I will be shifting all my business to Hilton from now on.
Feb 22, 2025 · Mark YoakumHorrible stay all 5 days and even worse at night. There were ants in the swimming pool that were biting my daughter on the concrete in the pool area. The pool is old and outdated. The rooms have water damage. The hallways have bad odors. The hotel looks nothing like the photos online. The staff in the morning for breakfast were extremely rude. Also, The lock was broke on our door so we couldn’t use the deadbolt Correctly. which made us feel. Unsafe Last but not least. The hotel management allowed for a car show and party to be held in the back of the hotel Directly in front of our room The security guard stated they were guests and allowed to be there. There were over 25 car Lowriders including the people There to party. More than 40 people dancing and yelling cussing and drinking. They literally had turntables and a barbecue grill and the hotel allowed for a huge towel bin to be used for the party as a trashcan for beer and pizza/food. There were coolers full of beer. They used an extension cord directly in front of our window. They they drank and smoked marijuana. I have pictures I could literally reach my arm out the window and touch the Dj of the turntable. This is how I know all of this. The party started Early in the evening and lasted all the way up until 7:30 the next morning. Then once people started to leave in the morning. The cars started to honk their horns and start their loud lowrider cars and rev the engines. Mind you my child was sleeping and there was a party on the right side of where she was sleeping. Even with earplugs we could still hear everything. All of the rooms were sold out at this point. In this area and at this hotel! They were so loud. I had to call the police. The security lied to the police/hotel manager and stated that the party would turn down their music and that they were guest and allowed to be there. I couldn’t get through to management and when I did contact management, the manager did nothing. The security went outside and started to laugh and joke and party with the hotel “guests” over 30 guests. I know more than half of the party outside in the parking lot we’re not guests Because I asked some other people coming in and out to use the restroom. We rented this room trusting the Marriott would give us a great stay for our vacation To see our son graduate from the Air Force Academy and they completely let us down. Shame on the hotel management and the name of the Marriott and what they stand for. This is not guest/Customer satisfaction but torture. We book and stay at the Marriott around the United States several times a month as well as my employees for business. We as a family stay at the Marriott over 40 times a year. Never again will I stay here again or with the Marriott nor Will my family or business. Please be aware of this property here in San Antonio Texas seaworld/Lackland. they are not kid nor family friendly. I have more photos and video.
Mar 17, 2025 · Jessica AragonThis place is the same as sleeping in a motel type of place. Staff is probably very under paid and low level because they do NOT assist the guests. They do not answer the internal phone (unless you try to call direct phone line). All they say is “ I am alone here and nothing I can do”. It was the worst experience in a hotel for sure. My first time staying in this suit and I have trusted by the name Marriot, but is definitely a very low level hotel. Areas are dirty and you can see mold and stains all over the place. Rooms have old furniture and definitely not clean. They allow pets but probably don’t clean enough so you will encounter lots of dog hair in your room. Sofa is very dirty and not possible to sleep (you will sleep directly on the metal part). If you have another option- don’t stay in this place, you will regret the money spent there.
