Mar 04, 2025 · Bharat RavatRooms are clean and location was just what we needed for Six Flags. Required a $50 deposit for non-smoking yet the ENTIRE BUILDING smelled of weed. They kept the ac off too, very warm. The ac in room made it okay though. Says breakfast but only has cereal and milk. Says pool but sign says closed indefinitely. Bummer
Jun 30, 2024 · Audra McLendonRoom was hot, smelly but the a/c did work, no elevator only stairs, no pool available and what they called a breakfast was cold cereal, no milk. No coffee,Great place to stay though if you are visiting six flags, within a100 yard walk.
Oct 26, 2024 · tina mooreRodeway Inn at Six Flags Over Georgia review (July 9-10, 2024) Location: The hotel is located within a 9-minute walk of Six Flags Over Georgia, which was a huge plus for me since I live 5 hours away from the park. After a long day at the park, it was a relief to be able to quickly get back to the hotel, rest up, and be ready to head home the next day. Amenities: The hotel advertises free parking, Wi-Fi, a pool (which was out of service and empty during my stay, and other guests have mentioned this issue for over 2 months), and breakfast (which was a major disappointment and a borderline disrespect to guests, as other reviews have also noted). I arrived at 6:30 AM for breakfast, and all that was available was cereal, coffee that was way too strong for my taste, and something they labeled as apple juice. The management is clearly aware of the subpar breakfast, as they don't even bother to remove the chairs from the tables to set up the breakfast area). It's worth noting that several guests have also mentioned a strong odor of marijuana in the lobby area. Room: Upon entering the room, the air conditioning was off, and with the outside temperature at 95 degrees Fahrenheit, the room was uncomfortably hot. It's worth noting that the air conditioning did work quickly once I turned it on, and the room cooled down to a comfortable temperature. This issue had also been mentioned by other guests in reviews. The room itself seemed clean upon entering, and the bathroom was clean with fresh towels. However, I later spotted a small cockroach crawling on the wall, indicating a poor pest control system. The beds were very comfortable, and the linens were clean. The room décor was decent and inviting. The room includes a small refrigerator, microwave, and the overall layout was functional. Staff: The staff was very friendly and helpful. Both check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Value for money: I paid $87.14 (including taxes) for a one-night stay. They have a $50 smoking deposit, which was waived since I don't smoke. For me, the price was reasonable given the convenient location, but not for the lack of amenities they advertise. Suggestions: I have a Six Flags membership, so I'll be visiting the park often, but I'm still considering whether I would stay at this hotel again. The hotel displays a plaque in the lobby indicating that it won a Gold Award in 2024, but in my opinion, this award is highly overrated. I would suggest that the hotel management address the issues with the pool, breakfast, the odor of marijuana in the lobby, and improve the pest control system. Overall: While the hotel's location is convenient for Six Flags visitors, the lack of working amenities, the subpar breakfast, and the observed pest control issue are factors to consider when making your decision. There are other hotels in the area that may offer a better overall experience for a similar price.
Jul 20, 2024 · Dan Eugenio Boston USAIf I could just rate the location, I would. I checked in on Nov. 15, my original check in was Nov. 14, I t was changed on the day prior to incident. So I check in around 5:30pm on Nov. 15. I then brought my kids as the hotel does have in door swimming pool area. Around 11:30 pm I hear banging on my hotel door. I opened the door to two hotel workers ( men) they claim that I was in the room illegally. So I checked into the room with my license and my room booking number. They called the cops on myself and my kids, which was all an attempt to get me to leave without my money back or my deposit as if I had done something wrong or because I was genuinely scared of the police. They are racist. And I usually don't say things of this caliber. But when someone automatically thinks that because of your race you will immediately be scared, intimidated, or in real fear or police as if your the problem is pretty crystal clear to me. I am going to pursue charges. With that being said people of color please stay away. And if you do stay there watch your kids.
