We had our wedding here and it was AMAZING!! We wanted a place that had great food and a relaxed and fun atmosphere. And St. Brendan’s over delivered. Linda and her team were great to work with, and bent over backwards to make the day super special, easy and stress free. The atmosphere was fantastic and hanging out in “the snug” in between the wedding and dinner was a great way to get the whole family in one spot. The food for 30 was the same quality as the food for a regular dinner for 4, and was delicious. The dinner service was fast and accommodating. And hanging out on the deck and watching the sunset was the perfect way to end the long day. Having all the out of town family staying at the hotel was very nice and convienant and allowed for an easy central meeting place every morning. And on top of all that we didn’t break the bank like allot of other places to have weddings, even with an open bar. The number of guests that commented that it was the best wedding they’d ever been to was pretty long. Nothing I would change about the day: they really made it special for us.

Jul 27, 2025 · Arne GustafsonWent here with friends we haven't seen in over 10 years at their suggestion end recommendation.. After we got seated, it took the waitress an hour to get to us as they were short staffed. I ordered a $15.00 10-year-old bourbon to sip on while talking with our friends. We ordered and it took quite a while for our food to come, which I had $28.00 Fish and Chips. When the food came, it was barely warm, including the fish and the French fries. It must have sat for an hour before being served. After the waitress dropped the food off, I ordered a beer for dinner. I was slowly sipping on my bourbon, enjoying the taste while talking to friends and had half a glass left when the food came. While talking to my friends, the waitress took my 1/2 glass of bourbon, while replacing it with a beer. There goes $7.50 down the drain of very rare bourbon. When the waitress came, she was friendly, efficient and even took our pictures. I did not like having cold food and my 10-year old bourbon taken away from me, For paying that kind of price i would rather have a simple Fish Fry and a bar where I can get quick service. I would nor recommend this place when it's busy because of the short staff and lack of attentiveness.
Jul 19, 2025 · William MeinzReally enjoyed our stay here, the rooms were impeccably clean and the beds had plenty of pillows that were actually comfortable. The staff were very helpful and efficient. We also enjoyed the hearty breakfast the next day. The river walk behind the hotel is nice as well.
Jul 30, 2025 · emily wegenerStopped for dinner at 6:00 tonight. A Sunday. There were two waitresses and four other tables with two people at each table. Our waitress stopped and we each ordered a soda. She dropped them off and we asked for "another minute" with the menu. Twenty minutes later, we had watched her bring people drinks and food, bus a table, go to the kitchen and walk past us 8 times. She never again looked at us or spoke to us. We decided to leave. We went to the bar to pay for our sodas. No bartender. So, we stood there. And waited. No waitress to be seen still and no one behind the bar. We threw money on the table and left. If this is how horrifically poor the service is when the restaurant is dead, I can't imagine how bad it is when they're busy. We won't be finding out as we won't be back.
Jun 23, 2025 · Echo WilkowskiWe were in town for a wedding. Great location near river walk and in relation to many destinations in the area. Very reasonable cost which included a hot breakfast (made to order omelet). Front desk seemed sporadically covered but staff was always helpful.
