It's not bad but for what you pay it's definitely not great. Way over price for a run down hotel. The saving grace was that the room didn't have carpet in it. Other than that the room wasn't ready when we got there after check in time. The garage in the room also wasn't empty when we finally got the key. The room was so damp that everything was wet. Very gross. The TV was so old and hardly worked. The picture had lines going through it. The door handle to the bathroom was broke and there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. I thought I found it but nope it was a heat lamp. The pool area was nice and a favorite among my kids but it was nothing special. If you weren't swimming it was way too hot in there. I don't think we will be back. Again for $180 it was way over price for the night.

Jul 01, 2025 · Stephanie SheppardThis is at least the fourth time we've stayed here The room rates are a bargain and the rooms are very comfortable and immaculately clean. The beds are the most comfortable we've slept in and the rooms are very sound proof. The pool and spa area is lovely and we've never stayed at a motel with a better complimentary breakfast. It's actually more like a breakfast buffet and the food is always hot and delicious. The staff are so friendly and helpful that it just feels very comfortable to stay here. The building is older and the rooms aren't as updated as other places we've stayed, but the heating, AC, water pressure etc are all in great order. It's very clean, comfortable, reasonable, beautiful pool area and a bar with food and delicious breakfast. You can't beat it.
Mar 24, 2025 · Pam ShaferStaff was great, but I was very social… I talked to everyone… The housekeeper gentleman was nice but forgot to come back and clean my room. So we had no fresh towels upon coming home late as we bought the only handicap room that I knew of… Which didn’t have great handicap things at all… The toilet is impossible to get on for anybody with any brain injury or handicap or wheelchair accessible or cane. Needing any help to get on the toilet is literally impossible because of the design The screens were filthy as I guess it’s winner going into the summer,… But it’s Fourth of July so you think it would be clean by now. Couldn’t walk around freely as a handicap person on the sidewalk as the trees were not trimmed. The pool is a great design… It was wonderful area back in the day the hot tub looks wonderful, but upon arrival on July 4, the pool outlasted its time and turned one young pretty girls hair green and that was horrible and the lady at the front desk had no empathy and said she had to deal with going to get $60 with the product and gave no options to the girl… As we all frighted during a rain and lightning beautiful show outside… The Moose lodge that is the emblem of the exterior as you drive down the freeway there’s a giant like 20 foot high moose, that symbolizes freedom and fun and the wild trails behind that several Polaris and like vehicles got to play on because they bring their own vehicles! With a great rental next-door to do four wheeling and trails abound in this area! So most must be seen that the local staff is friendly, but unwilling to help probably because of the owner because they’ve been hushed or something… The owner I heard from a local is maybe not here but when it was owned by someone of our relatives… A few owners back it was the place to be and hang out… It has sure lost its local flavor as the staff had to close the bar early on the night prior to Fourth of July because of time constraints given by the owner… No wonder it’s not a local place to go hang out anymore… so wish it was because it has wonderful pool tables a bar full bar & breakfast could opened up after 10pm (during the weekdays…& have it open on a holiday weekend night) like the Fourth of July with hundreds of rooms available here. All the carpets were clean and the staff friendly upon arrival… Just wish it was like the old days where they could at least accommodate folks on a holiday weekend and honor the local flavor it used to have. 🔆
Jul 05, 2025 · Karen LongI would never recommend this hotel. My two sons who are 8 & 1 were harassed by a breakfast server named Ray. We tried TWICE to get breakfast in the morning. My boys & I were harassed by this sever to leave, due to my boys being barefoot. The second attempt I was holding my baby on my hip getting a cup of coffee while my 11 & 8 year old were looking for something to eat. Then I turn around & here she comes yelling they cannot be in here & we need to leave. Then as I'm asking her how it is any different walking into the breakfast buffet barefoot versus the rest of the hotel(same carpet to walk on throughout the entire hotel into the breakfast area. It is NOT in correlation with the Moose restaurant, ropes are separating the two facilities.) I started shaking & My baby went to lift his hand up onto my shoulder as the server was yelling back at me. My baby then knocked my coffee in my hand startled by her and burned his side of his arm/belly/thigh & part of mine. A gentleman from the area got up from their table asking me if we are ok and needed help. I responded we are going to the Front desk because we are getting harassed. The lady at the front desk apologized and said that's not okay at all. She gave me the assistant general manager Lisa Griffns card to call about the incident. We both would get sent to voicemail every time we called. I left two voicemails w/no call back sunday or Monday, I then created a customer ticket. She called 07/22/2025 She did not seem bothered about her employee harassing us or that my baby & I got burned. She proceeded to defend her employee and stated that she was in the right enforcing their policy. I told her there is no sign at the hotel or policy online when we booked a room that states “no shoes no free breakfast”. I told her of other families I spoke to who got breakfast that same morning barefoot and were not harassed.(hubby one of them)She stated she would talk to her server that she has to enforcing it for ALL people and not just some. Lisa brought up the Moose restaurant and their policy to me. I told her we were not in the Moose restaurant but breakfast area. She stated they are separate but my boys were in the wrong. We have traveled so many hotels as a family overseas and in the U.S. (best western) Never in 12 years has anything this bizarre ever happened. We were in the HOTEL breakfast area coming from our room to grab a muffin or whatever they had to offer with PAPER PLATES, PLASTIC CUTLERY, PAPER CUPS, PLASTIC STRAWS, & NAPKINS. (nothing glass was in there, plastic containers held the dry cereal) It was an unsettling experience & poorly handled from the way we were treated by the breakfast server Ray & assistant manager Lisa Griffin. Our boys shoes were in my husband's vehicle which he took with our son to his early baseball game. I called my husband at the game to tell him what was going on. He was upset that they were kicked out and harassed which led to our baby getting hurt from the hot coffee. He was also disappointed he was not there to confront the server who was harassing us. It was made very clear that this hotel only cares about money and not their customers. The assistant manager used their Moose restaurant policy to defend the harassment we received from their employee. I tried to get a hold of someone else to contact for a partial refund due to the hotel not following through with their free breakfast policy upon booking. (not feeling safe On top of it all) They do not have a policy stating “no shoes no breakfast” posted up anywhere in the hotel or online. Lisa Griffin told the customer service ticket center they will take no further review ( I can’t contact anyone above her because she deemed it not necessary) stated no partial or full refund as she will stand by her employee & policy. How disappointing a hotel is run by a manager who treats families this way and lets a breakfast server behave this way towards children.
Jul 25, 2025 · Dylon BilskemperI hadn't stayed here in years and was a little apprehensive, but after checking in and dealing with the friendly front desk clerk, getting in the room and settling in I was very satisfied. The rate was fair also. The rooms are a bit dated, but overall the place is a lot nicer than I expected. I'll definitely be back.
