I was in town for a funeral and spent 3 nights. The staff was very friendly. This is an older hotel and they are doing some renovations but it wasn't a bother and i really didn't notice any noise from it. It's on a busy street so expect normal traffic noise with convenient access to convenience stores, gas station, a bank next door, fast food places, etc. I had a balcony room on the 4th floor. The balcony overlooked the back parking lot and faced the hillside which was nice on foggy mornings. It was a very pretty view. It's a typical older place that is a little outdated, but new carpet, white paint and brighter lighter bulbs will brighten up the rooms and make it better, hopefully those changes are doable for the owners. The housekeeping staff kept it clean and comfortable. There's a restaurant on the 4th floor, I didn't eat there and didn't notice noise from it. At 1/2 the price of the Holiday Inn down the road, the Landmark is a safe and comfortable place to sleep, shower and go about your day.

Jun 07, 2025 · C&K BernatBathrooms are tiny, the ceilings in the bathroom and the drapes in the room had black mold. The room wasn’t properly cleaned before our stay. There are no locks on the doors, so my littler children were able to open the doors and walkout whenever. Their microwave caught fire while trying to use it then the hotel tried to charge my account $250 for a “smoking fee” after the cleaning staff was informed of what happened. Mind you we drove 8 hours to stay there so we could see family. Horrible experience. Will never stay there again
May 26, 2025 · Martha ParrisWe rented a room at the Landmark to attend a funeral. The pricing was fair compared to other lodging in the area. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the room had everything we needed for a three day stay.
May 24, 2025 · as Betty WirsenGreat older motel with very nice staff. Owned by the local hospital. Comfortable beds, refrigerator and microwave. Decent prices. Best value in Pikeville.
Mar 12, 2025 · william kogerStaying for a friend’s wedding and found this hotel. I had spoke to two representatives before I checked in, once to see if they could allow an early check-in for 2pm and once to see if I could add an additional night to my stay. Both representatives were so nice and accommodating. Then, when we checked in, the front desk concierge was really nice and helpful. The location is perfect and the rooms are clean and comfortable. You do get a lot of road noise, though but it’s still worth the stay. The pool looks nice and clean, too but the weather is not holding off for us to enjoy it (Tropical Storm Helene). Don’t forget to check out Happy Day’s Diner for breakfast and Heavenly Donuts, located on the same street. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
