The rooms and lodge are well above the average for Dover. I have stayed in a lot of places and this is in my top 2. Rooms are nice, spacious and clean, although not "luxury", per se, but it is a mountain town. The breakfast is a nice spread, although tougher to manage on a lower-carb diet. The location is fantastic and incredibly close to the mountain -- the only way to get closer is to stay in the base lodge. The big plus, in my mind, is the staff. I can't say enough about how professional and yet caring they have been. Just a fantastic crew who really want their clients to enjoy their stay. If the rooms weren't as nice or the place were further from the mountain, I would still recommend it, based on their staff, alone.

Dec 26, 2022 · Keith PangI have been wanting to come to Vermont for 2 years now! My husband decided to surprise me on my birthday and booked a trip at The Lodge Mount Snow. Let me start off by saying the view is absolutely gorgeous!!! Vermont is a must see in the Fall time or any other season, but I think it’s the prettiest during Fall season particularly because of the colorful trees. Truly breath taking. Our stay at the lodge was perfect!!! We checked in a little late due to traffic + long hours of drive (about 5 hours) I called ahead of time to let them know I would come in later in the evening. The person who answered the phone was very helpful and walked me through everything. At first, she told me nobody would be at the front desk- I was a bit worried when I heard no one would accommodate me BUT then she told me the pin to enter the Lodge and a key was waiting for us at the front desk. How convenient!! :) Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable for both my husband and I. The staff went out of their way to make my birthday a little bit more special by leaving a bday card and left cute notes on it. It’s the little things. My only complaint would be that there was no hot water at night. When we checked in the morning, the hot water came right back on. Over all, it was a beautiful place to stay in. I would def come back here!
Oct 19, 2021 · Elif CetinerThe hotel is nice, the staff is friendly, and the room had everything we needed. If you're skiing, the location is perfect, very close to Mount Snow. The downside is the noise. You can hear everything! We were awakened from the noises above us; the floors are incredibly creeky. You can hear your neighbors talking and everything going on nearby. As for cleanliness, overall the room was pretty clean, with the exception of under the bed. We ended up sweeping it up ourselves. We stayed in a pet-friendly room with our hypoallergenic dog, but the excessive amount of dust and dog hair under the bed was affecting my allergies. Lastly, the parking lot is dirt, so it is not maintained and gets incredibly icy.
Dec 24, 2021 · Laura KruserI've stayed here a couple of times and it's a great deal. The included breakfast is good. Definitely a no frills type of place but it has a lot of character. The bar, poolroom has a really cool floor plan with a big fire place and nice views. I would recommend staying in one of the rooms that's above ground level as the room I stayed in on the bottom floor near the side exit was kind of musty in smell and there was some kind of ongoing water leak in the hallway. Super close to Mt Snow. The staff was super friendly which surprised me based on the attitudes in the rest of the town.
