We arrived one day early for our planned Vermont vacation and needed a last minute room, only for one night, and preferably pet free due to allergies, and without breaking the bank. The office staff here were soooo helpful and accommodating, answering multiple emails and questions even on the day of arrival. When we got there they allowed us to look at a different room than what we booked because it was pet free. It worked out great for us. This was a one bedroom suite with small balcony. The rooms and bathroom were extremely clean, and spacious. The king bed was comfortable, as was the full size couch in the living room (what a rarity for most lodging places!). Cute balcony via screen door looking at a meadow, trees, and mountains off to the sides. There were two huge TVs, microwave, nice fridge, Keurig. And a half bath as you walk in near a huge closet. Coffee in the am in breakfast room was excellent, with lots of teas, and you can have warm muffins, toasted bagel, yogurt etc. And the woman who works there was very friendly and helpful. Probably the only issue we had was an extremely loud fan/AC unit but that was not that big a deal. Its very well lit at night so you will feel safe but aren't able to see the stars too well with all those lights. There are nice chairs, and an Adirondack rwo seater bench. Incredible views surround the place. Its much more affordable than the bed and breakfasts and inns, and more beautiful than a hotel by far. Assuming they add flowers, planters, hanging pots, or wreaths on the doors etc for the summer (cuz right now the outside buildings/doors are plain looking) it'd then be one of the prettiest places in Manchester. It's a short and lovely drive into the town where there is so much to do and see. Very convenient location for this part of Vermont. We would DEFINITELY stay here again. My tip would be to contact them to make sure you are getting the type/size of room you desire, and which view, and level of privacy. I think there is a range, so really worth asking. That worked out much better for us than trying to go through the website to choose a room.

Everything was great from the time we checked in to checkout. Great view and off the main road. The lady serving breakfast made sure she had lactose-free creamer for my wife when asked. Everything you need is nearby. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be going back!

Very nice stay. This was our second time and we will be back. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The lady in the breakfast room was the best! There was a nice variety of food to get you started for the day. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Our room was spotless and comfortable. There were a few things that caught our attention. The overwhelming smell of what we think was creosote from the fireplace was pretty strong. There was no plate cover on the plug next to the bed and the lampshade was ripped in a couple of places and needs to be replaced. It took away from what could have been perfect. Just a little attention to detail. As mentioned, we enjoyed our stay and will be back.

The room was awesome. The breakfast was very nice also. You can take your breakfast outside in an Adirondack chair and look at the mountains. There are rooms with jacuzzi and fireplace. We didn't upgrade. We also had a private deck to relax on. I highly recommend this motel.

It is a large property that allows small dogs with plenty space for them to run around. We stayed in the green mountain suite which had an incredibly large bathroom which was the highlight for us. My husband was finally happy to have a shower he could freely turn around in without knocking stuff over and I finally had a spa tub! They were so good about replenishing the wood for the fireplace every night which was so nice when we were in for the night and relaxing. Breakfast was simple - muffins, bagels, yogurt, fruit - that you pre order the night before and either pick it up to go or they have a small breakfast room. I'm more a fan of eating my breakfast during the storage wars marathon type. The only downside was that there was no smart TV but as minor inconveniences go that was pretty minor. Would definitely stay again, was definitely worth every penny.
